ibuprofen for itching

They symptoms include raised swelling spots /hives all over my body, facial swelling, especially the lips and eye areas, and terrible itching of skin and scalp. At one piont, I was diagnosed with asthma and put on a nebulizer for several months. The spots seem to move per occasion. I have been trying to scientifically figure out what is causing these conditions - keeping a food journal, seeking help of allergist, dermatologist and a GP.

I have been taking ibuprofen for years and have not had any problems. Within the past year I noticed that after taking Advil I started breaking out with hives under my eye. I have never had this problem then it started. I was wondering if anyone has ever had this happen to them and what if any were the causes identified. I am 30 years old and a smoker. Also, it doesn't happen all the time but only sometimes. I don't know what would cause this to happen and not consistently.

If you are certain it is not sex-related, try an aloe-based cream or gel to ease the itching and redness. Be sure that it is only natural ingredients. And if you are still stumped at what the cause could be, it's best to get it checked out by a doc.

I have had itching issues for years and just mentioned it to my PCP a few weeks ago. For me the worst part of the itching is on my arms and I will end up scratching until there is blood. My PCP suggested using some lotion on my arms. I don't yet know if this will work or not as the itching has subsided for the time being. But it does kind of make sense since it will change the sensations on my arms.

Is 3-6 200mg Ibuprofen a day for a 3-6 days a week bad for you over a long period of time?

Ibuprofen is bad for our livers. Try getting a massage if you can. Bromelian, a natural supplement made from pineapples helps reduce swelling but it takes time to work. Also, make sure you're drinking lots of water, and getting some exercise. Try some yoga too. Pot brownies worked the best for my back pain.

ok I just read online that you are not suppose to take ibuprofen while you are pregnant again im 5 weeks i took total of seven not all together of course over say a period of maybe two days due to a severe toothache did i do something stupid is my baby going to be ok.

whenever i take even one 550mg (naproxen) ibuprofen and then drink, my stomach gets tender and bloated and i feel bad. i usually take a maalox or something like that, yet i never throw up from it so i don't know if that's applicable for you. i think it is due to the ibuprofen, but if you're not used to eating spicy foods then it could have disagreed with you, not necessarily meaning food poisoning. you should never drink and take NSAIDs at the same time.

My doctor said that ibuprofen is a big no no but then again it is only one time and many have taken it before knowing they were pregnant i am sure u and ur baby will be fine just try not to have it next time.

21 years old. Pregnant with second baby currently 11 weeks. Im currently taking Lovenox shots n my prenatal the passed 2 weeks have had headaches... Is it OK to take ibuprofen if I don't have tylenol available at the time.

Ibuprofen is never allowed.. Tylenol is only option and now that im in third trimester the pharmacy told me that doctors dont even want us taking that.

I find this so embarrassing to even ask but for few months I've noticed I've been really red and itchy down there. Every time I shave it feels like I cut myself and burns the same way for few hours but I don't have cuts. I'm always very itchy and I can't control so I do itch a lot. Then when I go to the bathroom I notice that itchy part burns a lot. This irritation has been for months now and it's almost everyday.
