All u can take while breastfeeding is ibuprofen u can't take tylenol. It's weird cause while ur prego all u can have is tylenol and while breastfeeding all I can take is ibuprofen funny huh.

Breast feeding can be so painful when we start out, I breast fed my son exclusively for until he grew out of it... The pain wont last forever and it is well worth it. Hang in there <3 There are nice gel nipple pads that I loved but they are expensive from the mercy mall, also la leches league sells similar pads along with lanolin (like vasaline) to help with pain.

I had horrrrible cramps afterwards and they gave me percocets. They hurt more than giving birth did!

I was already prescribed ibuprofen for swelling from the birth so that probably helped me not feel pain afterwards. If you're not prescribed ibuprofen three OTC ibuprofen is the same dose. The nurses told me that bc it's cheaper than the prescription. I can't remember how long I took it. If you're breastfeeding I wouldn't use it.

Ibuprofen is bad for our livers. Try getting a massage if you can. Bromelian, a natural supplement made from pineapples helps reduce swelling but it takes time to work. Also, make sure you're drinking lots of water, and getting some exercise. Try some yoga too. Pot brownies worked the best for my back pain.

ok I just read online that you are not suppose to take ibuprofen while you are pregnant again im 5 weeks i took total of seven not all together of course over say a period of maybe two days due to a severe toothache did i do something stupid is my baby going to be ok.

whenever i take even one 550mg (naproxen) ibuprofen and then drink, my stomach gets tender and bloated and i feel bad. i usually take a maalox or something like that, yet i never throw up from it so i don't know if that's applicable for you. i think it is due to the ibuprofen, but if you're not used to eating spicy foods then it could have disagreed with you, not necessarily meaning food poisoning. you should never drink and take NSAIDs at the same time.

My doctor said that ibuprofen is a big no no but then again it is only one time and many have taken it before knowing they were pregnant i am sure u and ur baby will be fine just try not to have it next time.
