I took tylenol this morning. I took Ibuprofen an hour ago . I coudnnt take it anymore. It was a one time thing and i feel so much better. Will my baby be okay?
t go to sleep till around 4am. On Sunday it started around 5/6 pm and I put on a ICY HOT pain relieving cream, and honestly it didn't help at all. I took tylenol pm to fall asleep, I fell asleep around 12am. On Monday I fell asleep around 11pm and didn't feel a thing. Today is Tuesday and the pain came back around 11pm right before going to bed.
Noooo... I know my doctor said it can be VERY harmful!!! I cannot tell you why, but that's what I was told :/ I feel ya, I miss my Ibuprofen!!
Would taking ibuprofen (advil) before & after unprotected sex decrease the chance of conceiving?

Can Kidney pain be a side effect of taking Ibuprofen? I was taking ibuprofen last week consecutively for 3 days (400mg t.i.d) after laser eye surgery. A day or so after starting it I experienced mild pain/discomfort in my left flank that came in waves. When I stopped taking the ibuprofen the flank pain also stopped.
The next day I took one more dose - the flank pain started again within an hour, but was gone the next day.
I have an itchy rash on my butt. He said it was dermatitis. He prescribed an Ibuprofen piconol cream (a Japanese brand that is that). He said to buy gauze from a chemist and to use a gauze to put it on. He did it once and it stayed but the one that I bought and daubed the cream doesn't stay. Falls off very quickly. The question is does using a gauze matter medically( it might be to just protect clothes) for applying this cream? I am putting in on by hand now.

Oral antiinflammatories like ibuprofen/acetaminophen are also helpful apart from the steroid cream that your doctor has given. If the symptoms are severe then it will be best to consult a dermatologist.

Thanks so much for your expertise. I have my appt on Monday for a follow up and I'm hoping that we can come up with some sort of treatment plan. Some days I seem to be ok and some days, excruciating pain. I've been taking Ibuprofen 800 for prob 3 years which helps. I have Vicodin in the medicine cabinet but would rather deal with a little pain and take the Ibuprofen than to take that. I usually rely on that for the worst days. However I'd rather be on nothing at all.
Also wear cotton undergarments. Application of mild corticosteroid cream and oral antiinflammatories like ibuprofen/acetaminophen are also helpful. If the symptoms persist or the rash worsens, becomes painful or itchy then it will be best to consult a dermatologist.

There is one I saw a whole ago in the beginning of my pregnancy, that used a large pad and some cooling type cream. Pinterest has awesome ideas and information. I will be interested to see if anyone here has used anything like this as well.
Xrays and blood work do not point to rheumatoid or osteo arthritis. As a side note, I experienced similar joint pain (and heart palpitations )when I was pregnant and went away after delivery which makes me beleive that this joint pain is hormonal. I have also been experiencing other perimenopausal symptoms, difficulty sleeping, night sweats, occasional heart palpitations, vaginal dryness, mood swings and depression.
Has anyone heard of any reactions to ibuprofen while pregnant?
Is it true you shouldn't take ibuprofen it can harm the baby? I just seen this today while doing research as to this is my first. i have been taking it before I found out I was thinking my period was coming and I've always had bad cramps so I know to start taking it before my period comes to help with the pain. Should I be worried that I've harmed the baby from taking it? I'm 5 weeks BTW.
I had a really bad headache yesterday and took 6 200mg ibuprofen tablets ( 2 every 4 hours 3 times) and then I found out today your not suppose to take ibuprofen. I'm really worried, will everything be okay?
