I have sunburn on my legs from just above the kneecaps to my ankles. I've had the sunburn since Monday. I have no swelling, my legs are pink. The thing that hurts are my shins, they feel like they are on fire. I put aloe on, but they still burn. What the heck is going on? Will this eventually go away?
The next morning I woke up with horrible pain in my legs and nausea which lead to vomiting and a fever. The leg pain is so bad that 4 Ibuprofen every 8 hours barely touches it. When I get out of bed and all the blood rushes to my legs it is so painful that all I can do is cry. I consider myself a fairly tough person (when I had a gallbladder attack I didn't even cry), but I can barely walk. It literally takes me 15 minutes to stand up out of bed. What should I do?
ll have to use a combination of things for a sunburn that bad. For starters, take Advil or Tylenol to help with swelling and pain. After a shower, pat dry and apply vinegar with a clean spray bottle on the sunburned skin. Let it air dry. Then apply aloe, let it air dry, then solarcaine. Take another Advil or Tylenol. It may take a over a week for the skin to heal, but the burnt color may last much longer. Hope you guys find relief soon!!
I was happy to find, Question about severe leg pains. I have gotten sunburn on lower legs when I was Kayacing. I can't stand once I start walking It's better. As soon as I stop shooting pain like never felt before. Even passed out once. I thought I was crazy. Not that I want anyone else to excperence this. I am 39 Caucation ; Have no health problums.

s some pretty expensive organic, all natural ones out there with bases like almond oil etc (maybe try a health food shop? Or online) and a zinc cream/stick would be fine too (but gross for a whole body covering).
I just have to control myself from itching or apply aloevera skin cream to soothen it.This is a everyday work as i go out everyday.....so my skin is always red and i am itching throughout the day.....what treatment should i take for it and how much harmful is this sunburn and itching for my skin....what kind of disease can i have if it continues in this way??
I think it's prescription, but Silvadine cream works really well. My doctor also told me that I could take Ibuprofen 800 mg's 3 or even 4 times a day if I needed it.

a few days ago recieved severe sunburn from knees down on both legs. I have a lot of swelling. when I try to put my legs down I have severe pain. Feels like when your legs fall asleep, but instead of tingling pain. Sometimes I am able to walk for a little bit, but if i stand still it is excrutiating. As of today I cannot put any weight on one of my legs.

I have a bad sunburn on both my legs with my ankles swelling and skin is really tight. I am hardly able to walk or stand without pain and can barely stretch my legs due to the skin tightness. I have used aloe with methanol, over the counter burn cream and 100% aloe. I also have been taking cold showers and trying to drink a little more water. It is only the second day after my sunburn. Is there a different treatment I can use.

For over the past two weeks, I have had a flat, red rash that appears like a sunburn on my face and particulary the neck. When I am in the sun or heat, it increases in itchiness and burning. A few days before the rash started, I had finished my second five-day course of 750mg Amoxicillin for dental work. Also, a few days (3 or 4) before the rash started, I had a very brief (3 seconds or so) unprotected oral sex exposure of which I was the recipient (I am male, received from female).

Yesterday I got a bad sunburn on the top of my legs from my knees to my shorts.I had applied sunblock after I noticed I was burning. Today the muscles deep around that area hurt so bad that I cant walk without extreme pain. I've tried everything from cold packs to pain meds. should I seek help or will it pass without problems?
i forgot to wear sunscreen on this event where i was outside all day long and i got really bad sunburn that was aboutt 4 almost 5 weeks ago. my burn was pretty bad and hurt alot some scabing not its healed a little redstill, but i find that it iches like crazy ive put aloe on it, ive put coco butter on it, ive even put the tea bags on it, but its still iches from like 4 to 5 weeks ago.

I got a pretty bad sunburn on the 3rd of June. It cleared up with a little peeling on my shoulder (where the sunburn was the most severe). About a day after the peeling on my shoulder stopped (I'd say that was the 9th), I got a rash. I then noticed it was everywhere I had been sunburned or exposed to the sun, but not anywhere that my bathing suit was covering. The rash is terribly itchy and it's very small flesh colored bumps.
On Nov 11th I went in a tanning bed for 5 min without goggles. I had my eyes closed the whole time however there was a second where I opened my eyes by barely squinting. Since then both my eyes have been dry (when I close the lids I can feel a kind of burning or dry sensation) although that has slowly gotten better. I am using artificial tear drops. I have been sensitive to bright light although that too has slowly gotten better.
