I have lots of headaches. I use Alieve but not daily. I discuss over the counter medications with my GP. Over the counter like other medications have benefits and risks and interactions with other medications. They all effective and some people can take some and not others. I for instance can not take tylenol because of drug interactions and my liver. Headaches are very complicated mine run with my asthma. The better I am doing with controlling my asthma the less headaches I have.

I cannot take immetrix I am allergic too it. I now will only take over the counter stuff. I am not sure wether ibuprofen is best or a combination of aspirin and tylenol together. What do you think?

However, it is important that you consult with your physician on all over the counter regimens you plan to start to make sure that there isn't an underlying health condition that could become worse by partaking in a over the counter regimen. If there is any pain involved,then pls give over the counter pain reliever like Ibuprofen(advil).She can also apply a mild hydracortisone cream like dermacort on the site of the sting.Severe cases may need oral steroids.Alsp check her tetanus booster dose.If it is more than 10 years since the last tetanus booster,then pls get her a tetanus toxoid shot. Have seen a dr and was put on ketoconazole cream and pretty much every over the counter cream available but the rash still remains . I am very clean and do my best to keep the area dry. It seems that when I started the creams it got a little bit beter then got a lot worse. At times made it even painfull to walk.

t put ice right on skin but wrap in something like a towel and try short period of ice to the area. If you can take these types of things, Over the Counter ibuprofen or acetaminophen also may help. But talk to your doctor for help.

I can not think of a cream to use for that area that would be OTC (over the counter), sorry. warm water baths, no soap and wet wipes are all I can offer at this time. Sorry I'm not more of a help.

i have begain to apply over the counter antibiotic cream which seems to help slighty, but after a week there is not drastic change in the healing process.

Anyway he said that I probably got it when I had unprotected sex with my most recent girlfriend. He prescribed an over counter cream to help clear up the area it is Hydrocotisone 1%. He said it should clear up in a few weeks. How ever I forgot to ask if I run the risk of having a chance of another outbreak occurring at a later date. So that is basically my question.
