For the first two months I was completely numb from my earlobe to the bottom of my neck on the right side of the incision. Avatar f tn Hurts a lot when I move my neck a little especially when I move it to the left side. I have applied some relief cream and sprays. They are effective for some hours then they wear off. And the pain has now spread to my ears. More in the right than in left ear. And the only way I can kinda sleep is on my back and not moving at all.
Avatar f tn Also, it might help to mention that when I am not taking Ibuprofen, I am also experiencing eye pain. It is a general throbbing pain that I can only compare to what I have felt during a migraine. As mentioned, this eye pain also occurs with the stabbing head pain and neck pain when I am not medicated.
Avatar n tn Without medication pain level is above 10, after medication pain level is 9. My pain is so severe that it appears to lock the turning of my neck to the right. I am asking for any help regarding if there is exercises for this type of problem. My mornings after waking are the worse for me. I have been sleeping with 2 pillows under my legs, flat on my back, and 1 pillow under my head but this doesn't seem to be helping either. Is there any help for me?
11446628 tn?1418298480 I have osteoarthritis in my spine, from neck down. I also have pain in my knee and hands, and my fingers are twisting and have knots. My right knee has had pain and swelling for weeks, and this morning it's too painful to walk. I haven't injured it. Recent blood test didn't report rheumatoid arthritis. So what's going on with my knee, and with my hands?

Avatar n tn So, this started several months ago, under the glans, neck of glans, there is a line of probably 4-5 small circular spots, probably an inch all together, each one VERY small that are whitish in color and are very hard to see. At first glance i thought they were something of herpes, but they are not blisters at all. and when you rub them its almost like its dead skin. Problem is, when i have sex, this line of bumps opens and stings just like a cut.
Avatar n tn i have a pain on the left side towards the back of my neck it is a sharp shooting intense pain that goes up into my "brain" i feel a pressure of some sort on my neck in that spot where the pain starts to shoot from, it feels like there might be something there when i touch it because it feels different then the right side and my vision has been getting bad fast and headaches as well.
Avatar m tn For almost a month now I've been waking up every morning with a painful neck muscle. It's located in the back of my neck on the left side just above where the shoulder and neck meet. It's most noticeable when I turn or move my head in certain ways. It's at its worst first thing in the morning and is less noticeable throughout the day. I've tried changing pillows, heating pads and changing what position I sleep in.

Avatar f tn I do take Flexaril and Percacet when the pain gets really bad and the spasms get out of control but when I can, I take ibuprofen and lightly massage in Arnica Cream. If I can catch it early enough, sometimes this is enough. I know how painful this is and my heart goes out to you.

Avatar f tn I tripped on the sidewalk while running four days ago and fell hard on my knees, hands and the right side of my face. My lingering pain is behind my left ear down the left side of my neck. It is a constant pain. I think I tensed up as I fell and maybe pulled a muscle. Is it even possible to pull a muscle there? I've been taking ibuprofen. I tried holding a heating pad on my neck last night but it didn't do any good. Is ibuprofen the best remedy?
