486038 tn?1300063367 I have always been a rather out-going person... and un-afraid of the phone, and I could talk for hours on it. I'm developing a rather strange fear.... I'm afraid of talking on the phone. I simply dread it. when I know I have to call some-one I just can't stand it and I put it off and do anything to avoid it and just feel terrible about it. This just sorta came up, and I can't get over it, and nothing my mom says makes it any better. I don't understand it either.
Avatar m tn U sound like me. I'm so very sorry for ur loss of ur parents! When did that happen? Now to ur question. Each and every night I fear I'm going to have a heart attack and freak out. It is just anxiety. I have been telling myself...."I'm ok....I survived last night and felt just like this....docs told me I'm ok" keep a journal with ur symptoms. So when u feel light headed with arm pain for example u can look in ur journal and see u had it before and u survived. Just pray.
454966 tn?1225158761 I happened to have some breathing problems during the day also, but I have other lung issues and have for years. Sleep apnea is hard onthe the body and brain, and especially the heart. Hope get get evaluated and if needed treated soon.
Avatar f tn Yesterday while eating ice cream, I somehow inhaled/choked on it. I immediately started hacking, which normally fixes the problem, but this time it didn't. I tried to take a breath in, and I started wheezing. I couldn't breathe properly at all. I was with friends, and tried to say "help me" but the words wouldn't come out. All that came out was more wheezing. I continued coughing and eventually it stopped, and I could talk and breathe again.
199177 tn?1490498534 I have never heard of this.

Avatar f tn Hi I'm new to this today. I just wondered if anyone can tell me is there anything helps with this feeling of not being able to breathe when coming off subutex? For me this had always been the most difficult part and it's why I've never succeeded in 7 years of trying to come off pills completely. I am actually down to just 0.4mg of sub but I still can't come off completely. I have done cold turkey from OxyContin so know how much worse it can be.
2085202 tn?1373199740 t make any sense but when I jolted awake I felt like I was going to black out at the same time. As of at this exact moment I am getting these weird rushes like i'm going to fall asleep instantly or pass out, black out or die. I have been tired though. Yes allergies have been awful out here where we Iive as well. I keep swallowing fluid and feel like i'm drowning...throat is tight. I just don't like the whole sensation of blacking out/ possiblydying and not breathing well at all.
Avatar m tn During the night, I sometimes wake up with the sensation of have a fleck of spit caught in the back of my throat. Like I've accidentally inhaled a bit of saliva. I've tried looking up people having similar problems, and a lot of people mention mucus or phlegm or catarrh, but I distinctly mean spit. It's like when you accidentally inhale a bit of water. It doesn't feel thick or sticky or like something is coating my throat like post nasal drip.
Avatar m tn Maybe "not caring as much" about this will be good for me temporarily until the real problems get fixed. i think I am overthinking this and too worried about and in-tuned with my own body, always being worried about my heart and breathing, always feeling like I can't breathe (not just at night, but all day) though I am breathing.
Avatar f tn Temp went down but then got a feeling of liquid in chest. When I would breathe I could hear rumbling of liquid. Went to doc and she said I had a snius infection and post nasal drip. A day later I am still not better and now gagging foamy white plem. Almost like throwing up from my throat and still having the rumbling filling. Also having diarrhea 3 times today. I took mucinix but didn't help and did saline spray. Should I be worried.
Avatar n tn I'm a male, and yes, I was prescribed Doxycycline for two monthes by the Dermatologist, and during the time I used to take it, I started having chest pain and shortness in breathing, these side effects seemed related to GERD, as the chest pain went off after taking Antacids, however I still suffer from occasional shortness in breathing, and I sometimes fear it's caused of HIV (one of the possible Acute HIV infections infecting the respiratory system) rather than GERD.
Avatar m tn I'm 18 and I've been diagnosed with anxiety and it's really ruining my life. I often get panic attacks, I can't really breathe normal, like, I have shortened breath, I feel like my heart beats sometimes too fast, sometimes too slow, I get sharp pains in my head, sometimes a shooting pain, sometimes a light pressure, I feel very weak and I feel like I don't have enough air to breathe. I sometimes think I'm gonna throw up but I never really do, I just get that feeling.
Avatar n tn just wondering i have a bit of a sore throat no other symptoms persist but i feel i may be coming down with a cold if so could i still have surgery

Avatar n tn Now recently i was watching a lot of news and reading a lot of articles on Coronavirus on thursday night around 9 pm after watching news i started to feel that there is some trouble with my breathing and then all of a sudden i started to think that I have Coronavirus and then all of a sudden I started to feel that I am gonna die right now and i started to breathe even faster and staretd to feel a pain in chest and started sweating and shivering my hands were tingling and i was very scared that
Avatar f tn Finally his dad got there and blamed everyone for not watching his son. But I guess he did pass away. I am so traumatized by seeing what I saw. R.I.p little muhammid.
Avatar m tn There is really no way to know, since everyone is different and I would guess 99.9% of the time a person would not even survive going that long without oxygen. If the person's body was really, really cold while they were not breathing, that can help prolong brain damage for a little while, but even then there is no guarantee.
Avatar f tn a few years back I was suffering from hyper stress and now I am having a problem while sleeping such as stop breathing while sleeping and waking up like I was drowning. and it happens 2 or 3 times in a night. does anyone have the same problem?

363281 tn?1643235611 I just copied a list of all anxiety symptoms, you will be amazed.
Avatar f tn I had suffered from this many years ago but have not since then. I feel a heavy chest most of the day. At times I find myself taking deep breaths to try to take away that heaviness. Does anyone else experience that? It's been a week now. Thanks.
Avatar f tn Hi! Is your daughter by any chance on medication to control the anxiety attacks? You said she started having these when she was 9, did you take her to a doctor after the first one? Although it was a "once a year thing" over time anxiety can grow and grow into full-blown attacks. Definitely talk to your doctor about the previous attacks. If she continues to have these attacks before your doctor's visit, practice breathing methods to calm her down.
