hysterectomy

4144487 tn?1394479548 No one want to give me a hysterectomy but I am stage 2 almost 2.5 prolapse! They created my horrible pain with their modality of treatment... I don't know what to do anymore. Now that I am in pain the Doc seem scared or like they don't want to help. I am almost crippled, I can barely go to the store or do laundry! I cant even take care of my dog or my kids. This pain wasn't even here until I went in for treatment. Why the heck wont they just do the hysterectomy?
Avatar f tn I have had left side pain for almost a year, it is usually low under my rib cage, sometimes radiates around to my back. I have a lot of gas burping and flatulance. i have had a colonoscopy, Endoscopu, and Ultra sound on my whole stomache gall bladder kidneys spleen, all turned out normal... Could this have anything to do with my overies? I had a partial hysterectomy 25 years ago for a fibroid. My Ovaries were left in , they were fine at that time.

The passed 3 months I've had breast pain on the left side, mostly upper quadrant and under my left arm. Also burning pain on the right mid area of my left brest. It is sometimes very sharp pain in that area. My breast often feels heavy, but that seems to come and go.

Avatar f tn I’ve recently started having some stomach pain on one side. It just so happens to be on the side of the remaining ovary. I thought I had an ovarian cyst, so I mentioned it at my yearly OBGYN check up a couple of weeks ago. They did a vaginal ultrasound & said I had a very, very small cyst on my ovary but that it should not be causing any pain at this point. My pain comes & goes but reminds me a lot of how my endometriosis pain felt.
Avatar f tn I have periodic intestinal cramping with a dull to acute pain in my left side. I've been through all the tests for gallbladder, kidney, and pancrease and have tested out okay. I have a gastroenterologist and he is baffled so has anyone ever had these symptoms without finding the cause? Avatar f tn I am a 41 year old female with right side pain. I have had the pain for about 9 months. Gallbladder has been removed. Also, hysteroctomy. I have had colonoscopy done which showed non-cancerous polyps, follow up when I am 50. I have had kidneys looked at, all good there too. I have a GI dr who does not know why I am having pain. I have also spoke with a urologist, he has no clue either. I have had CT, nothing. What else can cause this pain?

Avatar f tn m experiencing severe spasms and pain on the left side of the stomach. The pain is described as squeezing, tightening feeling that never stops. There are times the pain go away but it seems that it's there all the time. I was diagnosed in my mid20s having IBS, & the pain is the same as before.
Avatar f tn You are right to be concerned about an increased risk of pelvic organ prolapse as well as vaginal vault prolapse after hysterectomy. But the risks and side effects of hysterectomy involve a much longer list than prolapse. I had a hysterectomy 9 years ago and speak from experience as well as the knowledge I have gained since undergoing this damaging surgery. The bladder and bowel descend without the uterus to separate them and hold them in place.
Avatar n tn I had a hysterectomy in May-kept my ovaries. I am having severe pain in lower left pelvic area.
Avatar f tn on the third day, the incision broke open (no infection) starting on the left side, but the wound leaked a lot for 3 weeks , then it took about 3 months for the incision to fully heal. For a while I had pain in the left side whenever I went for the prone position. That is almost all gone now. However, if I pick up a heavy object, the left side seems very sore and sensitive ( the skin seems sensitized ) and there is pain.
Avatar f tn Also, I have never had any pain on my left side. My pain is always on the right. So we are hoping that the endo is really just attached on the right side. He said he will look for all of it and cut out anything he finds. If there is some on the left side, he said he might have to take the left ovary, but he is pretty confident that it will be fine. I have been on birth control as well. I do still get periods, though.
Avatar f tn I had a laproscopic hysterectomy 3 weeks ago. From day 1 I have had a pain in my right side. The scars on the outside look great and i have not had any bleeding. When i sneeze i feel like i m dying. It is a pulling burning feeling. if i pamper the right side it seems to get better but if i pull up from a chair or out of bed a certain way at times it is like i have ripped something all over again. my doctor said to give it time. has any one else had this issue?

18070169 tn?1463175914 One of the most common side effects of antidepressants is muscle pain, and many people confuse joint pain with muscle pain. One of the reasons is that antidepressants interfere with the absorption of magnesium. Another problem is that interfering with serotonin also affects areas other than the brain -- most serotonin isn't in the brain, it's in the digestive system and also helps relax muscles and blood vessels. Most people experience this as muscle cramps.
Avatar f tn Back story ovarian cyst and fibroid tumors are on both sides of my family moms side is all benign and end in a hysterectomy my dads side there is also the same problem except my aunt did have ovarian cancer and she had a hysterectomy and some radiation treatments...My biggest concern is that now I have a 50/50 chance of the cancer and while I'm only 23 my age is on my side...
Avatar n tn I have frequency and urgency with urinating. Sometimes I have sharp rectal pains. Most of the pain is low left side. I have had several ultrasouds that continually show cysts and that my uterus is anteverted. The last two ultrasounds showed the Endometrial stripe being normal in thickness but small areas of echogenicity in the endometrial stripe are seen. I have tried the Lupron shot with side effects that I could not continue with.
782368 tn?1244854467 I just wanted to say that I had a complete hysterectomy in June 2006. Removal of uterus, tubes, ovaries. I never had ONE ounce of pain in the hospital or when I came home. Once I got home I did not take one pain pill ! You will have to rest and take it easy for sure. But just didn't want you to freak out thinking you were going to have severe pain because it's not always the case. Good Luck !
Avatar n tn I am new at this. I have had severe lower right side pain for 14 years now. Had my appendix removed, diagnosed with endometriosis, and had a total hysterectomy. I am now 27 years old and have had every test done. Anyone have the same problems and know anything that works to take the pain away? It is sharp, stabbing pain, can shoot to the left, goes into my back, down the right leg. So bad somedays I cant even get off of the couch.
