I am 7 days post op laproscopic hysterectomy I have had a dream dimmer completed with ultrasound which were both negative and also have had xray of abdomin completed with just constipation. My question is with everything normal at the moment am I at risk for bowel perforation or a dvt still?
Just curious if anyone else in this forum after having hysterectomy was having nightmares every night right after the surgery?
I seem to be having VERY vivid, strange, scary, and weird nightmares since having my surgery. It's not just once a night, it's more like two, three times a night. Sometimes I wake up crying and sometimes I wake up screaming and yelling. These are so bad that I am almost afraid to go to sleep at night now.
My sex life is in ruins and after intercourse i am in pain for days. I feel depressed as i cannot take part in activities like i used to, it is interfering with my work and home life and i feel like nobody understands. I would be very interested to hear from anyone else with the same symptoms and their views on the matter.
Now the child that she so desperately wanted will see her face in a photo album and know that was his mother, but mommy is the wonderful woman who married my nephew in law and is blessedly a mother to him in every sense . She is the one that he runs to with a bad dream, she is the one that reads him his stories. My neice and her husband could have adopted and her Dr said she could have lived a good long life had it not be for her selfish stubborness. Yes, she was selfish and stubborn.
Last night I had a dream about chocolate milk and french frys...I remember dipping the fries into the milk in my dream...yucki....all day today I couldn't stop thinking about chocolate milk...the fries I could care less about. I settled for strawberry nesquick....it's all we had..
My dreams are indeed quite vivid at times, but not always in a bad way. Sometimes they remind me of how wonderful it was to dream as a child. Other times, I wake up and start stressing or worrying about things my subconscious already understood are possible but I wasn't ready to accept yet or are so unlikely that it only causes undue stress.

Hello! I too had a total hysterectomy. I woke up screaming in pain...from my legs. The nurse said it was from being in the stirrups with my knees pushed up to my armpits too long and would get better with time. It has been 9 months and the pain is still there when I sit for too long and when I get up in the mornings. My legs ache horribly and burn by the end of the day, at first my viens in my legs would stick out grotesquely. That doesnt happen much any more.
Hey there Tooter! Ahh, the old using dreams, They are no bueno, but very normal in the healing process. I had them really bad in the beginning, and still have the occasional one these days. They sure do leave you feeling off kilter and disturbed. Just know that this was just a dream and everyone of us has them from time to time. Just because you used in your dream doesn't mean you have to use in real life. Stay strong today and keep your guard up.Good luck to you at the doctor!
That dream would scare the chit out of me! lol BUT, I am looking forward to the morning I wake up and can remember my dreams again. I have been dreamless for so long now, I feel maybe it's a memory block or maybe I have my mind programed so I don't dream and remember my grief and loss who knows. BUT I want to dream again I wake and try thinking mybe if I think hard enough I can remember if I dreamed but nothing. Anyways rambling. I hope your dreams move on to better things.
I had a dream that i had to cut my belly open and try to take out my babies on my own. It was aweful.
t seem odd to have pvcs in real life as it is likely your heart is reacting from the emotions you are feeling in the dream but the dream could also be trying to stress to you that getting stressed and anxious is a sure fire way to get the pvcs going so maybe your subconscious wants you to try and deal with those types of situations and conquer the stress and anxiety. I had a dream last night that I was in labor and had a little boy. Now I'll be 13 weeks tomorrow and don't know the gender at all. I thought that was kind of weird & new to me. Has anyone experienced this?
Bless you heart, I know how you are feeling as I went through a complete hysterectomy in 1991. No matter what the circumstances it is not an easy surgery. It doesn't surprise me that you are having these pains as the entire area is close to each other. That being said, I would definitely call your Doctor and let them know what you are experiencing and ask them if this is what you should be expecting.
Ive had 2 dreams the past few weeks about me been in labour and both times the baby has been a boy is that trying to tell me something?
