Hypoglycemia symptoms lyme disease

Common Questions and Answers about Hypoglycemia symptoms lyme disease

hypoglycemia

Avatar m tn Get checked for Lyme disease. Try to find a LLMD and do the Igenex tests.
Avatar n tn Your symptoms are all consistent with lyme disease. My husband, son and myself have lyme disease and two co-infections called bartonella and babesia. We are currently in treatment. Lyme disease is absolutely horrible. It took us so many years of doctors giving us different diagnosis until we finally discovered what we had. Lyme disease is the great imitator. We all have similar symptoms and also some different then each other.
1444261 tn?1284382421 I am doing further testing with a lyme disease specialist because my symptoms have been progressing and doctors can not determine the cause. My husband and son suffer from the same conditions and my endocrinologist recommended we rule out lyme disease.
1421029 tn?1282717378 I believe that i was told by many people that all this is actually associated with lyme as well. All these symptoms. My blood sugar was low. When i was having an anxiety attack i believe it was low because it was 57 when i went to the hospital. Hypoglycemia is a definite question in the matter. I am pretty sure from what others said who have hypoglycemia that all the tingling and burnin can come with that too. But can this be lyme?
1421029 tn?1282717378 So im not sure if im getting these symptoms neurological symptoms i should say from either hypoglycemia or lyme disease. i dont think i have ms. it doesnt run in the fam.
Avatar m tn i've been experiencing many symptoms that have interfered with my life for about two and a half years.
Avatar f tn But some of my symptoms have gone away, except for the joint popping, muscle tension, extreme exhaustion, and depersonalization. But is the fact that my symptoms come and go consistent with Lyme disease? And do my symptoms sound like yours? Also, what blood test did you get that confirmed that you had anxiety? I am currently looking for an LLMD, but the closest one is 4-5 hours away in Maryland.
Avatar f tn Have you seen one before? I do have experience with neurologic Lyme Disease, and all of your symptoms could possibly be caused by Lyme.

Avatar n tn I have same symptoms as you and more......found out I had Lyme Disease in me for what could be 8 yrs! I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 5 yrs ago. Find yourself a good Infectious Disease Doctor in your area. Good luck.
787406 tn?1339203183 Sounds like Lupus and maybe some other autoimmune disorder with a mix of FM. The fact that your symptoms improved with steriods, says Lupus. Also be checked for Lyme Disease wouldn't be a bad idea to be thorough.
Avatar f tn I then went to a lyme specialist. He went over my symptoms and tested me for lyme disease. The test came back negative. He wanted to start me on doxycycline to see if this helped my condition. Prior to seeing the lyme specialist I started having more pain in my hands and feet. I also have terrible muscle pain I think because of inflammation in the body. The doxycycline has helped take away the terrible pain in my hands and feet. It has also helped with my reactive hypoglycemia.
1421029 tn?1282717378 No one online can diagnose you. Your symptoms are all possible with Lyme, and Lyme can also cause brain lesions on MRI. How do you feel on the antibiotics? Many folks with Lyme experience a worsening of symptoms after starting antibiotics due to what is known as a Herxheimerxreaction. The tests for Lyme are all lousy & many doctors can't agree on how to diagnose or treat it, so stay vigilant. It is a difficult disease but it is treatable.
Avatar f tn Lyme symptoms are different in everyone, and a person's symptoms can change over time, which is partly why doctors have such a hard time diagnosing it. There is a website called ILADS [dot] org that has good information. ILADS is an association of MDs who take Lyme very seriously, and the information is very helpful.
Avatar f tn Hopefully you will have some luck and success getting tested for Lyme - while your symptoms don't have to be Lyme, they could very well be Lyme (not to forget co-infections). You may need to find a Lyme dr. to interpret the results if they aren't definitive enough for a non-Lyme expert to read. Good luck and let us know how you're doing.
Avatar m tn like this because I stay very active and eat well. Does it seem possible that I could have Lyme Disease even though my tests have been negative?
Avatar m tn Welcome to MedHelp Lyme -- Sorry to hear what you are going through -- you are, in my not-medically-trained opinion, having symptoms that could be associated with Lyme disease. Many MDs are not familiar with the broad range of symptoms that may appear in a Lyme infection and often cycle seasonally and also every few weeks (it's different in everyone). That is, I think, part of what makes it hard for docs to recognize Lyme when they see it.
Avatar m tn com has a section with international Lyme info and also the signs and symptoms of Lyme. ILADS has the signs and symptoms too.
Avatar f tn I know it could be far-fetched because he did not have a bulls-eye rash anywhere on his body, that he could have been bitten by a tick last October, and now he is showing signs of Lyme Disease??? We were with family whose dog was diagnosed with Lyme Disease about 2 months after that hiking trip in October?
Avatar m tn Test results came back negative. I was reading an article in a magazine concerning symptoms of lyme disease and everything listed as symptoms I seem to have. I am trying to find a specialist in my area who is knowledgable in this area. Should I have another blood test done to see if things have changed?
Avatar m tn Welcome to MedHelp -- sorry you have reason to be here, but you are in good company. You are asking good questions, and often those of us who are eventually diagnosed with Lyme and/or other tickborne ailments have to work our way through more than a few MDs for a proper diagnosis.
