Though not the typical symptoms of hypoglycemia; similar symptoms could also be caused due to autonomic disturbances, blood pressure issues, hormonal/ endocrine abnormalities etc. I would suggest considering a detailed evaluation by a primary care physician initially and depending on the cause diagnosed/ suspected, it can be managed accordingly or specialist care may be sought.

hypoglycemia is low blood sugar, and it is increasingly prevalent in our society. Hypoglycemia can cause an array of symptoms, including spaciness, fatigue, mood changes, PMS, sugar craving, headaches, difficulty focusing the eyes, tremors, temperamental outbursts, depression, excessive sweating, hot flashes, palpitations, cold extremities, abdominal pain, and panic attacks.
These are vague symptoms for hypoglycemia. I would see an Endocrinologist and have some bloodwork done.
I was diagnosed with reactive hypoglycemia and was wondering if internal tremors or weakness in extremities was a symptom? I do have episodes where I get visible tremors in the hands and cold sweats but those symptoms usually do not come with this weakness I am feeling. I do notice that when I eat something, the weakness goes away.
Unfortunately, when people have what is called REACTIVE HYPOGLYCEMIA (when the body reacts by over-producing insulin, which causes hypoglycemia), it can be difficult to show in a test. I have known people with classic symptoms who surely suffer from this problem who have had negative results from glucose tolerance tests. This is because there are so many factors that can contribute to hypoglycemia -- stress, hormones, activity, what foods you eat, and a myriad more.
oh...food seems irrelevant as well...some sweats at night common, esp. around the neck/hairline area...i sleep with a towel on my pillow...
Over the past 3 or 4 weeks I have been feeling really exhausted and cold all the time and sometimes i get dizzy and lightheaded.

My skin would then feel cold icy on my hands and covered in sweat clammy feeling like when your hot but still feel cold and have to put on jumper and tracks and socks etc cold cold this lasts for ten or so minutes upto 5 times a day usually twice.
I have to change my t shirts and pants to often and i hate it, its so embarrassing.
I also am extremely sensitive to change in temperature. Except even when it changes to cold for example outside at night i feel cold and then begin to sweat.
From what I understand initial low blood sugar symptoms (that is the feelings as your sugar drops, rather than the symptoms that come about after suffering low blood sugar over an extended time) are a hormonal response your body puts out to tell itself your sugar is dropping and to do something about it. Those initial signs - the shakiness, the disconnecting feeling (almost dream-like disconnect) sometimes cold sweat, etc, can result from other things as well.
Some of your symptoms sound like some of the symptoms of hypoglycemia... You might want to try drinking a half to 1 cup of juice when this happens and see if you feel any better in about 15 minutes. Some of the symptoms of hypoglycemia are:

3. sometimes no sweating, but sudden cold chill or warm flush

m being told there is NO WAY POSSIBLE that hypoglycemia can cause a seizure. I need real advice from someone. They want to lable him as epiletic. Can someone give me advice!
That sounds like Reactive Hypoglycemia, which is a condition where people's blood sugar drops after eating a meal high in carbs. You could try eating less carbs and see if it improves or you could visit your doctor.
In the past if I delay eating I will get the classic symptoms of hypoglycemia, nervousness, weakness, jittery, and nausea. Recently I have noticed at times I have had what I will call discomfort and weakness in my left arm with a headache and numbness in the lower part of my hand from the wrist to my little finger (which doesn’t completely go away. A couple of days ago I had the same feeling in my right arm and hand.

The other term for Reactive Hypoglycemia is postprandial hypoglycemia. It is no longer diagnosed using the glucose tolerance test due to the number of severe reactions. I hope this helps.
I would see your doctor about this very soon, as folks with hypoglycemia may develop diabetes later on. You may have pre-diabetes, and need to go on a diabetic diet. Meanwhile, make sure you have both protein and carbohydrates with all meals, and with all snacks, which you seem to be doing. You also might need to get a dietary consult and/or see an endocrinologist, for both are specially trained in working with people with blood sugar problems.
I was also prescribed Lexapro, Lamictal, and Welbutrin for dystymia and anxiety. I recently taperd off the Lexapro. I now have all the symptoms of hypoglycemia: tingling in lips (its constant, no break) and dizziness at just the slightest turn of the head, heart rate that is averaging 100 beats per minute (this has been constant not in little bursts for about three days now), and tightness in the chest/lung area, slight muscular type pain during deep breathing (also for about 5 days now).
What can I do about my restless leg symptoms It also affects my arms if I don't take meds in time for them to help
