Avatar f tn I've been suffering since 2007 with nausea, vomiting, frequent urination, insomnia, severe chills, pain in the middle of the back, and funny taste in the mouth, especially after eating chocolate does anyone know what this is? I've been to several doctors that at first think I just have an infection. I also was ruled out for thyroid issues. I just had an adrenal stress gland test done and am awaiting the results.
Avatar n tn The hypoglycemia episode followed by SEVERE leg cramps and then nausea concerns me. I have hypoglycemia episodes once or twice a week but do try and control the with diet and excercise. Sometimes I really do not know why they come, yesterday was one of those instances. I have NEVER had any sort of cramps or nausea following an episode. Is this normal? Common? Something more serious with my blood glucose? Something that will effect my heart if it continues? Please help me find answers.

Avatar n tn Nausea is a symptom that many people experience when glucose levels fall too low -- I have experienced this one when hypoglycemic on occasion, and many people who write in to us with hypoglycemia mention nausea. The previous posting seems to be indicating that your symptoms may also be of diabetes, but this is not really the case.
Avatar n tn Within an hour after eating that, I got nausea again, and vomiting. Took Pepto Bismol, threw it back up. Started to feel very warm, friends said my face was flushed, checked temperature and was 100.1, not extremely high but a slight fever nonetheless. Went to the ER to get checked out. Gave me some fluids, nausea medication, and did some bloodwork. The bloodwork was all good, except a slightly elevated white blood cell of 11.8, which I know can indicate an infection somewhere.

Avatar m tn What your friend has is called Dumping Syndrome or rapid gastric emptying following gastric bypass surgery. Symptoms include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, shivering etc. This is treated by taking small frequent meals, drinking fluids in between meals, taking more of proteins and less of carbohydrates and simple sugars (total no). Shivering is due to low blood sugar or hypoglycemia. Generally this is due to increased secretion of insulin from the pancreas.

When I arrived there I had migraine, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea for 4 days and they gave me IV cipro but it didn't seem to help. a year later I returned to the US and started to have asthma, sleep apnea, and chronic fatigue for over a year. nothing helps my fatigue, exercise, cpap, symbicort, metformin for my high blood sugar. I have low cortisol too about 4.0 AM.

1823499 tn?1370090289 One of my main symptoms was nausea, sometimes increasing nausea until vomiting and then sometimes sudden vomiting with no warning. At one point any attempt at moving quickly would bring on one of the intense periods of nausea and I couldn't think strait until it finally caused the vomiting. After my decompression surgery I only was sick strait after it and I thought I was lucky to not have the constant vomiting I had heard about.
