After my c-section I was told I needed to get a blood transfusion. I was vwry scared and still am. I took a test at 2 weeks and it was negative and I took one last week for the 3 month check up. I still don't have the results. It will take a month since they have to send it to the US. I live in Holland. I was also told they scrrent here blood about 4 times. Should I be worried?
I am sick worried to jsut think something might go wrong.....

So, IF and that is IF he received a blood transfusion there is a high probability that he could of contracted Hep C from the transfusion. Or the blade used to stab him could have been tainted with someone else's blood that was Hep C positive.

Because I have a cold, I went to the clinic for transfusion. The nurse's hand broken by the Infusion tube when she tried to insert infusion bottle,and flow a little blood. She changed a Infusion tube , but I'm not sure her blood have not into the bottle, but her wound not touch the needle but contact with my hand.Have a risk?
I think they should give a broad spectrum antibiotic along with a week or two of mepron to all blood transfusion recipients. It would certainly cut down on transfusion transmitted infections.

If your blood glucose was 61 an hour or two after breakfast, especially if your breakfast was fairly high carb (such as cereal, bread, etc) you might have a specific type of hypoglycemia called reactive hypoglycemia which is people who have low blood sugar after a meal high in carbs. I would suggest seeing your doctor and getting tested to see what type of hypoglycemia you have and to make sure you aren't pre-diabetes.

Every person's sensitivity level is different and therefore where one person may remain conscious at a level of 50, another may encounter a seizure at that same level.
