Had to tell him I could relate because I did not want to feel like a hypocrite. Never heard of a generic vicodin by that name however and I thought I was rather knowledgeable about any type of hydrocodone by whatever name.

The ladies are right. Norco is the brand name. I am prescribed Norco 7.5/325 but I get Hydrocodone 7.5/325. The 325 is the amount of tylenol they put in it. In my case, we do it so that I can break them in half and take additional tylenol if I don't need as much narcotic and want to just take an extra tylenol with it. You should definately be able to get the generic though...

I am in the pharmacy program that pays for my patched until i get my DSS and I cannot find the brandname anywhere due to the new DEA guidelines on sched 2 narcotics. Any ideas? none of the pharmacies in my county or surrounding counties have the name brand and I can't afford to buy my own generic right now.Does anyone know of a generic equivalent patch that the drug company will give me for free?

yes, i swear by the drug gabapentin is the generic name for it.. i took it this last time i detoxed and it helped me so much.. I still had mild withdrawal symptoms just some small achieness and sneezes.. and some RLS every now and then..But it does help so much oh and it helps with the anxiousness so much.. Percocet has oxycodone in it rather than the hydrocodone in Vicodin. Oxycodone is stronger than hydrocodone. In my experience, the oxy worked better and I had less side effects (upset stomach and "dumb" feeling).

Sorry, never seen a green hydrocodone pill. Only the white generic, the 7.5/325 orange norcos, 10/500 blue vicodins, and the 10/325 yellow norcos. I took so damn many of all of those it's going to take me a long time to fully get over the addiction. Don't take something if you aren't sure what it is. When I was in my medicine cabinet raiding days someone had put different pills in different bottles, so I think I took some sort of anti-biotic instead.
