Avatar f tn Due to the tarsal repair you have lost lot of mass like muscle and soft tissue so the normal anatomy has been changed and for this you have to wear proper shoes. Try not to wear footwear which causes pain and with physiotherapy and exercise you will gain strength and fight the pain . Take care!
Avatar m tn Sorry I've been away for a while. I took human anatomy and 3 law courses this semester. I don't remember the law courses at all, anatomy is a beast. The cryo ablation worked well. It took about two months for the pain to go away. No complications. It is not a bad proceedure at all, recovery can be strange at times as everything sorts itself out but nothing to worry about if you're having it done.
Avatar f tn i am scheduled to get an injection tuesday however this afternoon i started feeling leg and foot tingling again on the same side that i had all the pain on before. the doctor seems to think that it is caused from the facet or si joint. I dont believe that i re herniated my disc but at this point no one will give me another mri to make sure or anything. the pain started on the right side which i had no pain to begin with on that side and is located in the butt.
Avatar f tn So I woke up this morning feeling pretty good. We had our anatomy scan at 930 and I was up at 630. Well as soon as I got out of our car at the hospital I got this horrible pain that shoots from my right hip, all the way down to my foot. Every time I move I get this pain, it's been going on for about 4 hours now... And it s ucks! Anyone else going through this? I will be 20 weeks tomorrow (half way!!!) I hope this pain goes away.
Avatar f tn But the baby had the legs and feet curled up in between so it could have been the leg or foot bone. I honestly think it looked like a foot bone. I looked up pics of the girl anatomy and none of the pics I seen looked anything like what she showed us. Idk she's the tech I guess but now I gotta wait and see if my doctor will want to take out the ultrasound machine at my next appointment and see if she can get our little love to open his/her legs.
Avatar f tn I recently had surgery and had the nerve removed from my foot, beteen first toe and second. My doc was 85 % sure this was the cause of the "walking on glass like pain" that I have. I am three weeks post op and I have the same pain. I STILL cannot put weight on it without the very sharp localized pain in the ball of my foot.
510018 tn?1210966173 Hi, “Sciatica is a set of symptoms including pain that may be caused by general compression and/or irritation of one of five nerve roots that give rise to the sciatic nerve or by compression or irritation of the sciatic nerve itself. The pain is felt in the lower back, buttock, and/or various parts of the leg and foot. In addition to pain, which is sometimes severe, there may be numbness, muscular weakness, and difficulty in moving or controlling the leg.

973770 tn?1248051155 Your neuro/ortho docs know from a) their knowledge of anatomy and histology (study of human tissue) and b) from the experience of the neurological community, as shared through the professional literature. Sometimes doctors are wrong, but biopsy of the spine is usually not recommended. I wouldn't want to go there with one of my animal patients. The risk is too great. If your mother's symptoms get worse, have it looked at again. Best wishes.
Avatar f tn I am 23 years old and have asked in my age group to talk with someone else whos baby has been diagnosed with club foot, but no luck. Just wondering if anyone here is going through what I am?
Avatar m tn ve heard that it leads to the digestive system i.e. stomach. Could you people please tell me the exact anatomy of human nasal cavity with proper reliable medical information. If a small bee gets in your nose will it move to the stomach. Also do our nose consists of any sort of fluid like the wax in ears for killing insects in case they arrive there. Is the brain totally covered by the skull? can any insect crawl up through your nose into your brain?
Avatar f tn weeks They check the spine, heart, kidney, bladder, take measurement of babys size such as skull and I think they do crown to heel measurements rather than crown to rump. Also check foot for Club foot and measure femur bone. They do do a lot of checking but dont worry its precautionary for the most part. Theu do watch the heart beat and examine of course to make sure all os developing correctly. Its actually neat to see the babys spine and heart etc. good luck!
Avatar n tn Hello I'm a 17 year old male, I've been having a warm feeling in my lower left leg, mostly in my left foot. I've also had this feeling on my upper left chest as well as in my ears, it feels like that part of my body is being soaked in warm water, my doctor didn't pay much attention to this and was clueless. I'm kind of freaked out at the moment seeing this has been going on for weeks and feels very unnatural, could a blood clot cause this? and any ideas?

Avatar f tn What is it about the anatomy in the axilla that allows nerve damage when doing a sentinel node biopsy? Why, since it is a known risk factor, does it still happen so frequently? Thank you for your time. This forum is wonderful. You provide a great service.
Avatar f tn I looked at a portion of Gray's Anatomy (not the TV show -- the book on anatomy) and was shocked to see just how much of the face/head the Trigeminal Nerve interacts with. Here's a quote (very technical medical stuff): "The Auriculotemporal Nerve (n. auriculotemporalis) generally arises by two roots, between which the middle meningeal artery ascends. It runs backward beneath the Pterygoideus externus to the medial side of the neck of the mandible.
