My dog was just diagnosed by our vet with atopic dermatitis as she has scabs on her ears and around one eye (scrape for mites was negative). She got an injection of vetlog and ampicillin and prescribed oral clavamox and chloropheniramine. I also bought her a soft E collar to keep her from scratching. A week later she is worse! Her ears are now weeping and very sore (she yelps to touch) and today she can't even shake her head or walk (I think from loss of balance).

Does that mean that anyone who has had a plantar wart has HPV and is contagious? Is this the same as genital HPV?

It can be a plantar wart or a corn on the foot. Warts are tumours or growths of the skin caused by infection with Human Papillomavirus (HPV).They are contagious when in contact with the skin of an infected person. They can be transmitted. For small warts several medications(like podophyllum resin, Podofilox (Condylox), Trichloroacetic and bichloroacetic acids, Imiquimod 5% cream and interferons) are available, which can be applied directly to the surface of the warts.

This is really important. Do not give your kitty the liquid amox you described. You are not a vet. You say you are positive that your cat has some kind of nasal infection. What is she doesn't have that. What if the sneezing is being caused by something else ? You should never give medicine prescribed for a human to a cat. It is very dangerous to the cat to do this.

About half way though after a long walk (26km) I got an infection on either side of my foot. I assumed it was a friction rash, but when I came back the rash on the inside of my foot stayed for about another 8 weeks before disappearing (the picture).
