Avatar f tn But the baby had the legs and feet curled up in between so it could have been the leg or foot bone. I honestly think it looked like a foot bone. I looked up pics of the girl anatomy and none of the pics I seen looked anything like what she showed us. Idk she's the tech I guess but now I gotta wait and see if my doctor will want to take out the ultrasound machine at my next appointment and see if she can get our little love to open his/her legs.
Avatar m tn At the age of 75 how long will it take to regenerate the cells of a broken bone in a foot?
Avatar f tn When I move my foot, it feels like it has been asleep with the tingling, like pins and needles, and I cant go without shoes on that foot, I cant wear sandals, and when I do try to go without shoes on, the heal of my foot feels like the bone is going thru my foot. When I relax of an evening, my foot has like muscle spasms. I sometimes have problems walking still my ankle feels like it doesnt want to work and then I get a sharp pain in it and I have to stop and relax my foot.
Avatar n tn I sneezed today with my mouth closed, which i did not want, and i think my face changed a little bit...?i think that affected my facial bone and temporomandibular at the same time. Does sneezing with mouth closed have affect on human face? Sneezing with mouth open is normal wayto do it so i know that does not change our face but how about sneezing with mouth closed?
Avatar f tn weeks They check the spine, heart, kidney, bladder, take measurement of babys size such as skull and I think they do crown to heel measurements rather than crown to rump. Also check foot for Club foot and measure femur bone. They do do a lot of checking but dont worry its precautionary for the most part. Theu do watch the heart beat and examine of course to make sure all os developing correctly. Its actually neat to see the babys spine and heart etc. good luck!
Avatar n tn I had an intial injury to my right foot in April 2010. The injury was sudden and not the product of a determined source (i.e. impact, rolling, twisting). The lateral side of my foot near the 5th metatarsophalangeal joint swelled and bruised immediately. I was unable to seek medical treatment at that time so I rested my foot for 2-3 weeks and the pain dissipated and I was able to return to my usual routine.
Avatar n tn Human sexuality is vast, wonderful, and sometimes freaky. There is one fetish called "ballbusting", which is more or less self-explanatory. A dominant female using bodily or otherwise appendages to hit/kick/slap/knee to cause pain to a man's testicles and humiliating him in the process. She may also squeeze or stand on the testicles. This may cause a variety of medical symptoms associated with blunt force trauma afterwards, depending on the severity of the sexual play.
Avatar m tn Its a bone spur or a bruise , the human foot contains more bones than the rest of the body so u can break one without knowing it cause there so small.
Avatar n tn You can Google a search online for a picture of the human anatomy or organs, and it will show you exactly where the stomach is. It's actually located a little to the left, just below the sternum bone (like the poster above said), so the far left part of it is protected a little by the ribs, and then it comes down just above the belly button. The liver is on the right, in a sort of mirror position. The bowels actually go all the way up sort of under the belly button.
Avatar f tn What should I expect when I go in for my anatomy scan tomorrow? I will be 20w3d. I see a midwife so I have to go to the radiology dept to get it done and when I called to set it up they kept asking me questions about what my doc wanted them to look at and all I could say was she told me to call and set up my anatomy scan. Then the lady said well we'll just do dates then.
233616 tn?1312787196 I had my foot/ankle X-rayed several years ago after a motorcycle crash, and fortunately my foot and ankle were not broken. But then the doctor asked me if I had ever broken a toe before. My little pinky toe had apparently been broken in the past and had healed. I told him I had never broken one to my knowledge, but he was showing me on the x-ray where the break and fused bone was.
662033 tn?1224993660 My question is , has any one checked human combustion for plasma traces. Reason being that with electricity or static at 5000 volts or higher plasma can be formed with water. Since the human body is made of mostly water, if the correct electrical flash were to occur, theoretically you could burn even the bone igniting like a plasma torch. There have been many recent discoveries with plasma and water.
Avatar m tn Sorry I've been away for a while. I took human anatomy and 3 law courses this semester. I don't remember the law courses at all, anatomy is a beast. The cryo ablation worked well. It took about two months for the pain to go away. No complications. It is not a bad proceedure at all, recovery can be strange at times as everything sorts itself out but nothing to worry about if you're having it done.
209987 tn?1451935465 The numbness is sure due to nerve compression and as the anatomy of your foot has changed with the injury. Continue your physiotherapy and you will be fine as your sensations will return back with time. Take care!
Avatar f tn Fingers and toes were counted, length of limbs, complete diaphragm (between abdomen and chest) bladder, kidneys, flow through the heart (looking for abnormal connections), palate (looking for cleft palate) flow of fluid through the brain, lenses within the eyes and other things (rechecking nasal bone length). also looked at my placenta, umbilical cord and my ovaries too. I'm not sure they check sex routinely unless you ask.
Avatar f tn I specialize in anatomy in my field of work and actual human bodies look different from books and pictures . So it's pretty amazing. Seeing cadavers and an actual uterus and how small they are to how big they get is unbelievable.

Avatar f tn There is a visible fracture in my navicular bone in my foot/ankle. It is actually visible between the navicular and cuneiform bones. It almost looks like it's a piece of floating bone. Avatar f tn In 2011 my left ankle was totaled due to arthritis. it was bone on bone with no cartilage left. The first doctor said the ankle will have to be fused. I went for a second opinion. That doctor said fusion in the long run will complicate things. Instead, I had an artificial STAR ankle put in. NO MORE PAIN for the past 8 years with no complications.

Avatar m tn Hi, 10 weeks ago I injured my foot playing football. This came up with bruising and swelling on the side of my foot just below the big toe. I had it x rayed and nothing came up. It is still swollen and bruising still comes up now. Anyone have any idea what this could be other then a bruised bone. It looks like I have a bunion on my foot. Also when I am sat down for a period of time and go to walk it hurts even more but i can walk normally fine pain free at other times....
