I encourage you to consult your PMP and get a true DX (diagnosis). Just because I think you may have kidney stones doesn't mean that is what you are experiencing. Pain is our body's way of telling us something is wrong. Listen to it and get a DX.

I'm 11 weeks today. My OB has been informed every step of the way as far as how they were treating my pain. I've had several ultrasounds over the last few weeks (due to the kidney stones not the pregnancy) and they have checked the baby. I'm measuring accurate and there is a heart beat. They don't seem to have concerns at this point.
I have uti and been told I'm going to have it my whole pregnancy cause I have kidney stones there 46cm but can't have surgery till I deliver so I'm taking kelflex outs okay to take to treat uti while pregnant doctor will prescribe it to you but it's important you take care of it ..don't matter how many times you go to er just make sure baby n you are fine...
tt had any pain like that since, however, I am urinating blood about once a week and have pain in my right side groin area often after work late in the evening. Is this due to kidney stones? and will having sex irrate the kidney stones and cause the blood and small blood clots in my urine and pain in my groin.
Blood in urine is a sign of a really bad bladder infection or kidney stones..I had kidney stones with my first and never peed blood..got kidney stones again this pregnancy was peeing blood they said bladder infection but I ended up in hospital 3 days later with kidney stone attack so I either had both or was trying to pass stones..I would call my doctor so they can get a urine sample while you are peeing the blood out..
Has anyone had kidney stones during your pregnancy and what did the pain feel like. I went to the hospital earlier and was sent home and told I was just experiencing round lig pain but I'm a bit skeptical of that verdict because it lasted for hours and the pain was so intense. I didn't test positive for a uti either but idk what to think. I dont have bloody urine but i swear i peed out something resembling a small pebble earlier too.
Recurrent urine infections could be due to various reasons. Most common cause is stones in kidney which is blocking urine pathway. Other causes are changing sexual partners frequently, pregnancy, diabetes and of course childhood infections.
The urine can also be due to retention of urine anywhere in its flow due t obstruction. The obstruction can be due to abnormality of structures since birth, stones or diseases like tumors. Females are more prone to urine infections.
Had anyone had kidney stones? This is my 3rd child I'm 12+1 weeks.I'm healthy.but in the last 2 weeks I have had 4 kidney stones(on top of being really sick with"morning sickness"). Not kidding it IS worse than having a baby. MY ob said they don't effect the baby at all and pregnant women are more prone to getting them.had any body else had this problem.
I know if she gets this one out she will get another - Test have shown she has over 20 stones still in her kidney!! I work full time to support the 3 of us and she is going to school at University of Phoenix to try to get a life started for her and her son eventually. Thank goodness she only has to go to school one day a week. If anyone has any ideas of remedies (even though we have tried several) or some way to get help I would appreciate it.
m figuring that kidney stones take a while to form and that, if I have kidney stones and possibly an infection, it's likely that I had the kidney stones first and they contributed to the infection, rather that having an infection first that contributed to the kidney stones (sorry if this sounds confusing).
I've passed 9 kidney stones in less than 4 years with one being "caught" in my urethra. But, I must say there is nothing more painful than child birth. (I have a 2 year old) good luck!
So I ended up going to the hospital and I had kidney stones. The pain was me passing one. Right when I got to labor and delivery they had me do the normal pee in a cup. And I peed out the a stone the size of a beebee. Crazy worst pain I ever felt. They didn't really do anything but make sure there wasn't a uti involved. Everything was fine passed the stone and had instant relief.
I was born with a condition that causes my body to create kidney stones. I have been to the emergency room 4 or 5 times in the past 18 years for the large stones, small ones pass ok. My first stone caused bleeding and severe back pain also with pain in the lower abdomen area along with hot/cold flashes and vomiting. It may feel like someone is squeezing your kidney while at the same time stabbing it with an ice pick. I first though it was my appendix. I was wrong.

Hi mommies and mommies to be, as of Saturday I was 22weeks and admitted to the hospital for a reoccurring kidney issue.
( about 2.5 years ago I almost died from ecoli in my left kidney and was in the hospital for 12 days with Iv anti biotics and 3 months out of work and on meds by mouth)
I came in 3 weeks ago for kidney pain and was found to have a bacterial infection, was given bactrum in a very high dose for 3 days...
Thx for your response I have passed one of the stones in the hospital a few days ago still have another in my right ureter and a 7mm in my right kidney and several small stones 35 wks pg now and they are going to induce me in two weeks due to the kidney stones causing contractions and wanting me to have lithotripsy after her birth. I was told I wouldn't be able to pass the 7mm stone without intervention what are my chances with that they said its in the middle of the kidney.
I don't have gallstones but I do have kidney stones lol. One in each kidney and the bigger I get the more they hurt!!!!
