So, feel confident as you expose him to both languages. If you are stronger in Spanish, then you should probably speak primarily in Spanish to him. He will learn English in school and from friends. I absolutely would work on getting him to feed himself. The best way to do it is to stop doing it for him. Give him foods that are easy to self-feed to start. You can go out and buy a special utensil set (they have ones with characters) to encourage him to get started.

Try taking some iron. My supplements always block me up. And it's good for you during pregnancy anyway.

to a friend when they are talking like she has to do when speaking in English to me. They speak Spanish to one another because it is easier for them. Unless life thinks they don't like him for some reason, I'd not assume they are trying to make him uncomfortable but instead are trying to be more comfy themselves.

So happy my baby is now in my arms im going to cherish these moments since this is my last pregnancy. You know how there's this reggeton group wisin y yandel? I forget, but one day my husband read their name, he had no clue who they were and I had to ask him to repeat it twice and then I started laughing when I realized he was talking about wisin y yandel... it really doesn't sound good in English and I've never heard of anyone besides the singer with that name. A second opinion isn't that easy to get, at least it's not that easy for me and could take anywhere from 1 to 3 or 4 weeks. I first have to get a referral which takes a day to a week, then you have to locate a Heptologist. Then you have to get in, I'd say the fastest I could get in to see one would take at the minimum 2wks. I just think if I was in the same position, that I would most likely stop.

I agree 110% Flmagi, I'm sick of being asked if I want something in english or spanish. Why is there an option. If we go to another country there is no option. I live in an area where we have let the illegals take over. Lots of construction and new homes were being built everywhere so there are a lot of jobs for low paid workers...illegals. Million dollar houses with 5-6 families living in them and maybe one of them is legal.

I've been dilated at a 6 since last Monday and baby is at station +1. Docs said they thought I would be back within 2 days to deliver because she is so low, and because I'm dilated so far. I wish she would come already! I had to stop working because they thought I wouldn't make it to the hospital in time to deliver...but LO is staying put. I'm burning up all my sick time and I feel just fine...it sounds crazy, but I wish I could go back to work until she arrives...
