Common Questions and Answers about How to remove throw up from carpet

throwing-up

Avatar n tn As you can imagine this carpet is not good for my health. I often wake up with sinus problems. I would prefer not to sleep on a bed, but am open to it if I can not resolve it some other way. My first thought is to cover the area I lie on with some sort of covering that separates me from the carpet. I am told the air near the ground will still be the problem, however.
Avatar n tn been dealing with the same thing for a long time. I believe there carpet beetles. When there in the larvae stage they eat your hair follicles. I've tried to seek treatment multiple times including today because there also in my cat. Everytime I tell people because I'm a large muscler male they tell me it's scabies which it's not because I haven't gone around anyone because I too have had to shave my head and Beard.
5835213 tn?1375136151 My Shih Tzu is a thrower upper too, usually her main reason is going too long on an empty stomach, she'll throw up bile, but that doesn't sound like your problem, but she will also throw up sometimes shortly after eating if the kids make the mistake of getting her to play too vigorously. So we try to let her "rest" a little while after she eats. I don't blame you for seeking info, I'd be weary of cleaning it up too.
Avatar n tn After making a trip to Africa I slept in a bed that had like sand on it. Now I have sand-like particles and sometimes like large salt crystals (3mm) coming out of my skin. Sometimes it is like white particles. I have about 200 of these coming out of my skin every day, all parts of the body but particularly Skalp, hands, tips of fingers and under rings, soles of feet, behind, back. I have non-healing pimple-like lesions on my thigh, chest, arm and neck made by the salt crystals.
Avatar n tn My 15 year old male tabby is licking fur off his belly and hind legs. I tried orange bitters, but he would just throw up all over the place....I'm wondering if the new carpet in my apt is the culprit. Or the new cat tree a friend gave me. It was well aired out it had been in storage for over a year, and I shampooed it with cat shampoo and let it dry. Could this be the cause? He is a indoor cat, no flees, no redness or sores were he licks either. I have been in this apt for 5 months now.
Avatar m tn As far as the carpet goes, most carpeting today is able to tolerate a bleach/water mixture without any adverse effects. Mix up some at a ratio of 1 part bleach to 8 parts water and try spraying the carpet somewhere that it can't be seen. It should remove the stain and any bacteria from the carpet without harming the carpet itself.
599170 tn?1300973893 Hi there....you never mentioned how old Duffy is...I assume he's pretty young. I hate to see you having to resort to getting him de-clawed, that seems cruel to me. If he goes outside at all, he will need those claws to help defend himself, climb trees, scratch in the dirt so he can go potty, protect against any predators...you get my drift. If he hasn't been neutered yet I suggest you make that your top priority. Love to see a picture of Duffy ^.
Avatar f tn My mum is allergic to cats, what can i do to my cat to help her with her allergies??
203342 tn?1328737207 my cat (who is now 17 and still going strong) used to do exactly the same thing, he preferred plastic bags for some reason. he also used to throw up a lot too. it turned out to be his kidneys. the vet switched him onto k/d by science diet, and told us to stop giving him tuna (he had tuna all the time, he was addicted to the stuff) and since then, he stopped going outside the box and barely ever throws up.
Avatar f tn Yeah I agree with mamaMcAnulty u should check ur bed and lifted up every corner if u see one or blood yes u got em so make sure you get rid of them because it will go to your carpet all over you're close and u going to have bits all over ur body it wouldn't do nothing to the baby. I'm telling u this because my bro had some so he have to throw everything out and move out of the apartment because him and his kids were getting bit a lot.
Avatar m tn Try cleaning your carpet. do trial and error eliminate causes. remove the carpet or clean it, for a week or two. then go on to the food, eliminate them one by one.
72351 tn?1281992542 in the past year and I want to disinfect my carpet to keep germs at bay. What would you suggest I use to disinfect my carpet. My carpet is basically shot and discolored so I do not have to worry so much about discoloration, but as for bleach, it does tend to make huge yellow spot--maybe use diluted bleach? Lysol? Or is there some economical product for sale at well known stores such as Wal-Mart, Petsmart or Petco I could buy that would do the job?
Avatar m tn The best way to avoid that is to quit hanging around the people you got high with and find some activity to take up the time when you would normally be getting high. Good Luck!
Avatar f tn these enzyme are needed to remove the odor from where the kitten has soiled, carpet in your case....using a carpet cleaner WILL NOT remove the scent from their sensitive little noses...cats can detect these smells even when we can't....thus the need for the enzyme cleaner to remove all traces or kitty will continue to use the same spot..cats go by scent alone and if they can smell traces of urine/poop on a surface they will think its the spot to use... there are many enzyme cleaners avail..
Avatar n tn I have had numerous pest control guys come through my house and spray everything at least 3-4 times over the last 8 months and even bought the special bed bug matress protectors but I'm still getting bitten. Do these carpet beetles look like miniture garden variety slaters? I can't seem to figure out what we have, where they're coming from or how to kill them, but we sure are getting the bites in clusters and they're swollen and red!!! Itchy! Who can help me?
4456535 tn?1355894638 I've had that for weeks now!
9877471 tn?1410981088 So I was attempting to throw up and with my spit it looked like blood came out. Is that normal III t wasn't a lot but I'm concerned. Should I be?
1073863 tn?1256688390 - you need to clean the area with a product avail from pet stores that will remove the smell not only from our noses but also the scent from the cats highly sensitive nose....they have products with an enzyme that will do this, the area that was pee'd on will need to be cleaned with this product. Bleach/vinegar/ammonia and such products as you may have already found out will NOT work. good luck.
Avatar n tn Her breaths seems very shallow. Also, several times she has seemed like she is trying to throw up but nothing comes out. If she was truly vomiting, then something would have to be coming up because we know she has food and water in her stomach. It's this horrible retching sound that I've never heard come out of a dog. She's clearly distressed. What could this be? Where we live, it's very late at night and a weekend so our normal vet is closed.
9571159 tn?1419571005 Sometimes you just gotta suck it up. I was prescribed w Zofran but only taken it once and sucked it up the rest of pregnancy. That's a part of being pregnant!

Avatar f tn I find this very helpful for any kind of gastric distress from hairballs to indigestion to diarrhea. I comes in liquid form and it is very easy to mix a little with canned food.
Avatar f tn Anyways I used to do my makeup sitting on my bedroom floor (which is carpet) and I remember knocking one of my face makeup products over and it coming into contact with the carpet. I did wipe the bottle and the hole where the product comes out from with a wet wipe. I want to know is, how likely is it that I could give myself facial warts by using the makeup product that came into contact with the floor? And is carpet a suitable environment for the warts virus to live anyway?
Avatar f tn Also since you have allergies, make sure that you vacuum your bedroom regularly and dust there too. I have allergies too and an allergy to dust so we make sure to vacuum our bedroom often and dust. Also make sure your mattress has a protector as well. If you have old worn out pillows, throw them out and buy new ones. I hope my suggestions have been helpful.
Avatar n tn I have had asthma since I was four and am not allergic to most dogs very allergic to cats. My doctor told me that can take up to six months after an animal is removed to get the allergens out of the house. Hopefully you can start opening some windows soon to air the place out. Also, Febreeze has an allergen removing product that I find useful to spray on carpet and furniture. Also, I got an air purifier that seems to get rid of a lot of allergens. I hope this helps you.

Position right forefinger and thumb on either side of the cat's mouth and gently apply pressure to cheeks while holding pill in right hand. As cat opens mouth, pop pill into mouth.
