Hi everyone... Tomorrow will be my first day of hell trying to quit 120 to 200mg of opana per day. I've been taking this amount for about 2 months and prior to that 320mg of oxycontin and various amounts of percocet for about 2 years. I am truely dreading the next days and weeks of life. Prepare for a detox and get in touch with your doctor for medical help. You need to do this or it will be horrible for you and your family!! We can help you,suggest different things to help with symptoms but you just have to make up your mind that it's over! I think you know you're an addict. It doesn't define you. Im scared he will pass out or get sick or have a major panic attack. Is there anything I can do to help him prepare for this baby. About one a week she will take 1/4 to 1/2 a tablet of percocet. She usually does this if she is going out to a social engagement to control her pain more effectively. She describes constant buzzing like a bee in her feet. The MRI scan of her head was nonspecific. You can't estimate how long it will take because everyone is different. I had to be induced, dilated and they broke my water. I went in at 6 pm on a Saturday and on Sunday afternoon I stopped dilating at 5 cm. They ended up having to do an emergency c section. This is not to scare you, but yo let you know how everyone's experience can differ.

well i have taken lortabs / norcos consistently for close to 5 years but the most recent prescription was for percocets. ANd now, I want to stop. I jsut dont want to take anymore and I have 120 pills so I think I can taper successfully.

Hi there, I am looking for any advice you may have. I injured my tailbone this past Jan 2020. I went to the Urgent Care the following day and the xray showed no injury. I later had another xray and MRI done at a hospital this past June, and the MRI showed a healed fracture. The orthopedic dr said there was nothing he could do for me and was unwilling to prescribe pain meds. They did a steroid injection which did not help.

I have been unable to find a comfortable position to sleep without severe neck and shoulder pain. Surgeon gave me 10mg Percocet, 1 - 2 tabs up to 4x per day as needed (90 tabs to last almost 12 days at full dose). As I have been taking pain meds for many years this Rx lowered the pain somewhat but never completely. He then referred me back to pain management for continued treatment. I get absolutely no uninterrupted sleep becase any move case pain and wakes me.

It depends on what kind of work you do, how bad your side effects are, and how important it is to keep your job - at least that's how I decided. It took 4-5 hours for the full effect to hit me, so I always did mine at lunch Friday That way the worst was over by around noon on Monday.
