I am a students and due to anxiety and other stuff I can't fell asleep. How and what medicine could be helpful to me. I have problem with felling asleep , no problem of waking up in the night or not getting full 7 or 8 hours of sleep.
Progress can sometimes be gauged in very minute measurements like posting questions/concerns in this forum, getting out of bed, completing normal and everyday tasks that can seem daunting, etc. Remember, as in life, there are ups and downs in working through this. ve not really had to test this before as they are both very personally motivated to be successful in school. Kids take college level classes in high school now with the final test administered by the US College Board. My son took one his freshman year in high school. I don't sign him up for these things but his academic scores qualify him. He has a peer group of very smart kiddos who are all wanting to do well.

You may want to talk to a specialist about social anxiety and how to not be so shy. You have a lot to offer and never doubt this! Don't be so hard on yourself for being shy, take it one step at a time to overcome this. Look people in the eye, smile and say hi. This alone will show others that you are "open" for conversation and are approachable. You have a lot of living to do...don't allow this to cause you to miss a moment of it!

My daughter began having symptoms of numbness on the bottom of her feet two years ago prior to exams and her highschool graduation. Now in college the symptoms seem to worsen with each episode. She called crying on a train the other night with numbness in feet, legs, arm and back. She cannot feel them at all and are painful and her moble ability is hampered as she trips and falls. All began prior to the previous weeks exams. My daughter maintains a 4.0.
I would stay away from all meds. It is completely normal to feel nauseous, dizzy, and shaky before giving a presentation in front of your peers. You need to talk to your teacher. I am a teacher and I accommodate my students everyday. Also, you should let your parents/guardians know how you're feeling. When I was in college, I let my instructors know that I had anxiety about speaking in front of people. Everyone of them would "accommodate" me in some way.

I have a huge ego cause i was an athlete in high school and highly recruited for lacrosse.and i was almost in denial that...you know, this could happen to me? But it helpds going to see a therapist/psychologist/psychiatrist. Its nice to have some reassurance of an expert. But yea.....I have heard that coming home from long breaks from college is what sparks anxiety...and that alot of college students and people in general develop anxiety in their college years.
I have had this problem on and off for 4 years. I have the need to pee constantly even if I have just been. It only happens in public and social situations, I'm fine at home and at friends houses but I can't get the bus or the train, I can't go to college, I can't walk very far in public without an urgent need to wee which is basically ruining my life because I can't get a job or go to the gym or see my friends.
