Common Questions and Answers about How to have a natural miscarriage uterus

miscarriage

Avatar f tn ^ she's right. I'm sorry for your loss. But it is a good idea to wait a month because the entire lining of the uterus goes after a miscarriage. Having a period gives the uterus lining a chance to thicken, then you'll be less likely to have another miscarriage. (Not that I listened to that. I miscarried on the 22nd of august and have been trying for a month but got my period). Hopefully you and I get pregnant this month. :) Keep me updated?
1489197 tn?1300974568 re not going to TTC again for a few months...I need to give my body/Mind a chance to heal. I just am not sure how to feel or what to think of all of this. I'm frustrated/sad/upset/confused. Has this happened to anyone...or similar?
Avatar n tn I just a a natural miscarriage on 8/5. I passed everything at about 11:30PM and I had my u/s the next morning at 9:45 to make sure I passed everything. You shouldn't have to worry about infection, the doctors take all precautions. You don't want to use a tampon because a lot of bacteria sit on the tip of the cotton and that could be bad, but using the internal u/s wand with a condom sould be okay.
Avatar f tn To answer your question, when we had intercourse I didn't know I was O'ing but the next day I felt ovulation cramps (to me it sort of feels like being bloated with a side ache) so i knew that I could be pregnant again. We actually wanted to wait until 1st period came but it happened anyway. Just make sure that you are not spotting and that your hormone levels are back to 0 or negative.
Avatar f tn My doctor told me to wait until I've had two normal periods before trying again...but I know that varies a lot depending on your doctor. Some say wait one cycle, others two, three or even six cycles.
Avatar f tn Until everything is out you will continue to have pregnancy symptoms and not ovulate. After a miscarriage it can take anywhere from like a week to a year to get pregnant again. It all depends on your body.
750579 tn?1234867601 I just found out that I had a natural m/c and my RE said the same thing -- he advised me that he only does a D&C if absolutely necessary.
Avatar f tn So, I decided to avoid any further medical involvement and have a natural miscarriage at home. Next day, my cramps started to increase and I could feel my uterus tightening/shrinking as well, just like after a delivery. I passed mulitple blood clots and large objects, (but I haven't had the need to carefully investigate them). At this point, it's been one week and cramps are getting very rare.
Avatar n tn I am going crazy my hubby and I are trying to have a baby. Now I am even scared to get pregnant again or have sex with my hubby cause I do not want to become pregnant.
Avatar m tn C should wait one cycle (otherwise I guess there chances of a miscarriage do increase some, as it could be hard for the baby to attach to the wall). And anyone who had a natural miscarriage should have no reason to wait. They still say one cycle, but the reason for that is to help date the pregnancy. I've been talking to two other girls who got pregnant (after the miscarriages) at the same time as me, both of them had a natural miscarriage and got pregnant before there cycle returned.
Avatar n tn The reason they tell you to wait 1-3 cycles is to the uterus lining a chance to thicken, this will give the fertilized egg a better chance at implanting itself in to the lining. I had a miscarriage in August, at nine weeks five days and my doctor said that I was good to go as soon as the bleeding stops I've been trying ever since with nothing but negative pregnancy tests. I hope this helps, message me if you ever want to talk.
459969 tn?1398170254 s heart had stopped 2 days prior to my US, I was devastated as this was going to be our 1st. I did not want to sit around and wait for a m/c to happen and did have a d&c.. and for me waiting was the best. The healing part was hard to do but everyone is different. I wish the very best of luck for you and hope and seed plants! and out comes a beautiful baby! Please keep us posted! Kelly.
9219710 tn?1402423353 I too had a miscarriage June 8, 2014 the day before my birthday. My amniotic sac ruptured at 14 weeks and I bled. By the time I got to the ER it was an hour before my ultrasound which showed that my baby was very low in my uterus and did not have a heartbeat. At which point my world crumbled. After years and years (10 to be exact) and ivf failures I fell pregnant naturally only to lose my miracle baby 14 weeks later. I had two options due to how far along I was.
327405 tn?1223239755 Hi everyone, So most of you know that me and DH have been ttc for 2 years now. I finally got pregnant and am having a miscarriage. :( They want to do a D&C but I want to know everything that is going to happen before I get there. They have not been very forth coming with info. Do they put you under? How long does it take? Do you go to a hopital or there office. Do I get to come home right away? Thanks for the info.
Avatar f tn Yes, if you had a D&C, it can cause you to have difficulty getting pregnant. The scraping of the lining of the uterus can cause future infertility. Natural miscarriages don't cause that secondary infertility because there is no scraping of the uterus. When you had the abortion, did they not tell you how long you should wait until having unprotected sex again?
490183 tn?1361213953 yes if you have longer cycles that means you might not be as far along as you think and it might be okay that the baby is measuring small. i know it is stressful and i myself have had MC's and know how you feel, but you have to try to limit your stress as much as possible cause if all is well with the baby then you can not be stressed. stay calm and take it one day at a time. when is your next US?
3148758 tn?1343185991 I will have to pay another 90 dollers for a progesterone test to check my hormone levels, as low progesterone causes miscariages especially in the 1st 12 weeks of pregancy. I will do this in the next 1-2 weeks. Yes It's so costly, but it's worth it. It also gives u peace of mind.
Avatar f tn Honestly the shot of methrotrexate stops the growth instantly and there are some spots in your tube it can expand so far to be 4 monthsalong they tried to tell me there was no baby at 6 weeks its tubular and my levels were 280 i refused to get the shot and had a compete natural miscarriage because they were wrong it was just an abnormal pregnancy and i refused to get the soot because i felt it was like abortion and they said my tubes weren't inflamed but there was nothing in my uterus so i
1134468 tn?1381429585 I had a miscarriage a week ago. Unfortunately due to bad medical advise I had to have a D&C and transfusions afterwards. It was so disheartening because we have been trying over 2 years and I finally had given up after going to fertility treatments and trying everything under the sun. I also have thyroid problems and was told that it would be difficult conceiving on my own so this was more than a shock when we tested positive for the pregnancy.
Avatar f tn The doc said she will give me two weeks to have a natural miscarriage if not then I will do a D&C; so far no cramps or bleeding.
Avatar f tn It is generally given to women in their menopauze. I have very thin lining in my uterus, too thin for a fertilized egg to attach itself to. I did start taking the red raspberry leaf tablets to build up healthier reproductive organs. I do appreciate all your advice and insights. I have stopped taking the Progynova since my dizziness and anxiety (these side effects are also discussed in the leaflet) make it too difficult to function in my job.
Avatar n tn It could have just as easily have been a clot or tissue that your body passed. I don't know enough details to actually say if it might have been a miscarriage or not.
Avatar f tn I was given Duphaston tablet and injection to help with pregnancy. I was told that I have a higher risk of miscarriage. I continued to bleed for two weeks and passed some heavy clots almost everyday. Ever since I started bleeding, I stopped having all pregnancy symptoms altogether. During my next appointment with doc on 11/21/12, again had an US and found that uterus is completely clean. Doc said I miscarried naturally(I was 5 weeks 5 days during my first US) and passed out everything.
Avatar f tn I'm so sorry Emily! This is a hard time, especially seeing that you are so anxious to get started again. First let me tell you that I work for a well-known fertility clinic and anytime a patient has a miscarriage the doctors will tell her to relax. Take time to heal. You can't get pregnant until your body starts to ovulate again which can take various amounts of time. Most women will have their first spontaneous menses within six weeks.
Avatar f tn I had a natural miscarriage that lasted for about 6 days. My partner and I had sex 3 days after it ended, is it possible to get pregnant this quickly after or no? I have read that it is highly Unlikely because of high levels and your uterus lining is still not back completely.
Avatar f tn Well, a 'bulky uterus' with that being the only thing found isn't usually a reason for miscarriage. If they found other things that 'made it bulky' that should be noted on the report like fibroids, endometriosis, adenomyosis, etc. Those things may interfere, but just a bulky uterus is vague and likely not to pose a problem if that is all they say is going on. You should ask the doctor the reason for the bulky uterus and to look into it further. More testing.
Avatar n tn I have finally been reffered to a gynocologist since my miscarriage on Oct 30. I will be seeing him in a few hours and would like to get some ideas on what questions I should ask him to make sure this does not happen to me again? I would love your input plz?
Avatar f tn Though nobody on the Internet can tell you if you did or did not miscarry, as she said, it is possible to have a miscarriage without a great deal of bleeding, especially in the very early stages of pregnancy.
