So I am absolutly stumped on how she is supposed to end up pregnant? How on Earth will I be able to allow her to mate, if there are no other cats.... Does this mean she will simply never be a mother? Please help...

Tried to get him in to the Vet quite a few times but he was pretty crafty at his getaway and finally an abcess slowed him down enough that I could catch him. I certainly didn't rescue him to turn him over to the pound but this is getting to be quite frustrating to say the least. Thanks and I will certainly pass this information along to my Mom.

If worst comes to worst (and it has for many families where I live, with the housing crisis), giving a pet to a humane organization (a no-kill shelter of course) has been the option for some people. Sad, I know. But better for the pet than the alternative. I disagree that a vet would rather see a pet die than lose a dollar in the parking lot.

There must be a Humane Society or SPCA in Centralia that could help you, at least to get your cat a diagnosis. Please get on the phone and see if any of the charities can get your cat in to be seen. You are certain she could not have gotten out and gotten pregnant?

If there is a local dental society, they may be able to direct you to some type of service or volunteer dental program where they may be able to provide some services for you.

They will come here and ask us what to do, only to be referred to a Vet. Do they ever get to one???? In many cases I do not think so. Ya know when I was growing up we did not have a lot. My father died when I was 6 and it was really tough for me and my mom. We loved animals and were always taking care of strays and had several of our own house cats, never more than one at a time.....maybe because we knew we could not afford caring for more than one.

A complete household; parents, child, kitty and puppy! For kitty, all it takes is a minimum of 15 - 20 minutes a day of social time with you and your husband. I know puppies and children have higher time needs =) Best of luck!

Although my rash was largely a severe reaction to the Incivek, he wanted to give my body a chance to clear the majority of the rash. We could not rule out the role that the ribavirin and the interferon may have played in my allergic reaction to treatment. As a side note, the rash is not entirely resolved. The place on my right arm that we suspected might be an injection site reaction, continues to grow in size - every time I have a shot, although i am taking those in the belly now.

Maybe it was trying to use the petunia as a laxative. It's possible she is not sick from the petunias. She may need to pass hairballs. If she is feeling sick she may have ate this to make herself vomit, getting rid of the hairball or something else. It probably wouldn't hurt to give her some "cat lax" you can buy it in a pet store and just keep it on hand. I hope it's nothing more and she get better. P.S. I think they have a pet forum here.

I was on the straight interferon treatment 3x a week in 1990 for about 9 months and got to know the "flu like" symptoms pretty well.. and after my first shot of Pegasus.. damn, got reacquainted pretty quickly (way worse).. but by day 2 things were mellowing out. This is more of the tickle in the throat that you get before the cold feeling rather than treatment related..

All the CT and Pet scans show good. The PET scan showed a hot spot in the area of thyroid maybe suggestive of hyperthyroid or carcenoma and a lymph node hot in the right groin area. My doctor is being slow on doing anything. What should my next step do. They are going to do another Pet Scan.

I strongly believe You should need a license to be a pet owner likewise with mothering, there seems to be a license for everything else

I put out a pee pad and scolded her enough to get her to pee and sure enough there is blood in her urine. I don't think this is normal. If anyone has any thought I would greatly appreciate it. This was kind of a gift for our 4yr. old son's birthday in Sept. So we haven't had her very long.

The main reason for CBCs is that the blood can tank so fast - both white counts and red counts - and you need to be aware of what is happening. I think the once a week CBCs are a good idea. Have you discussed with your doctor what happens if the WBC or RBC go down too low?
