I am currently taking Zoloft for depression and anxiety and am preparing to do a detox colon cleanse. Is it safe to do a all natural herbal detox colon cleanse while on Zoloft as long as the Zoloft is taken a few hours apart from all other supplements?

Some of the colon cleanses can be very harsh and hard on your body. In my opinion if you're healthy and having regular bowel movements you don't need a cleanse. Aloe Vera juice is great for you. I drink it alot myself. Raw fruit and vegetables are also great for keeping our bowels clean and keeping us regular.

my sister got a system cleanse to clean the colon and detoxify the liver will that be too much on me?

I know when my husband eats lots of red meat or things that contain a lot of protein he has the same problem. So maybe slow down on the meats and have him go green for a week to naturally cleanse his colon.

I have no idea if this works if you do it the way they suggest, though I can almost guarantee the cleanse has nothing to do with weight loss -- if you stop eating of course you'll lose weight. When you start eating again, unless you change your diet, you'll gain the weight back. Using laxatives can be helpful in a short-term fast, but they can also be tricky.

As far as I know....ALL colon cleansers give you the runs....that's their purpose on how to flush toxins out of you. I thought about doing it also, but didnt want to push my luck anymore considering I luckily didnt get the runs this time around.

i am starting or have started a month long one through a supplement that i take 2 in the morning for the full body cleanse and than two supps for the colon cleanse at night time. i am wondering if someone can tell me how does one know if its working(aside from using the BR alot) and two how they felt during it?

I have had extremely painfull bowel movements and massive cramps for the past 4 weeks. The cramps don't start until I have a bowel movement. I will have to go at least 4 times and the cramps will continue for at least 3 hours. It is not diarreha, it is soft. The cramps are killing me. I had a colonoscopy done and it did not show anything expect for two small polyps that were removed. I wish I could get some relief from these awful cramps.
