ENT said I had some colonies in nose soUsed Bacrtoban for 3 days and slight pain in my nose went away per ENT. I stopped the bactroban after 3 days because I was not sleeping but I was also using Nasocort and maybe that was the culprit.

Use a humidifier to moisturize the air in your home and apply shea butter or Vaseline on your lips. Eat foods high in calcium, magnesium and flaxseed oil. If a week of compresses and emollients don't do the trick, you can add over-the-counter 1 percent hydrocortisone ointment to your regimen.
Keep the hand elevated and apply cold compresses by wrapping ice cubes in a towel. Please ensure not to apply ice directly without any cloth. Also take some anti inflammatory medicine like Ibuprofen or Diclofenac if you have taken them prior to this injury and have not shown any allergic reaction to them.

I have always had a clear complexion but 2 times in my life I have had issues with the skin between my nose and mouth. I went to a dermatologist once and he perscribed this ointment and it went away. I was working in the service industry then, but not now. I dont know if I am having this as a result of an allergic reaction, or is it a fungus or a staph infection or some kind of bacterial infection or yeast infection or something else?
Also you have advised to use Mupirocin (Bactroban®). I am unsure about where to apply the Ointment. In the affected area or the Nostrils (I think you mean the affected area) Please clarify this. Also you have said to repeat that every 6 months, please tell me how long should I continue this. You have told here to apply mupirocin (Bactroban®) twice daily for a week.
i took him in to the emergency room and the Dr. prescrived bactroban in cream and told me to wash it regularly and said that by the next day it should be better. but its been 2 days since then and i been following the orders but i do not see it getting better, on the contrare it seems to be getting worse.. and how long does it take until it goes back to normal? he's not complaining of pain only when i apply the ointment.
I have pimples (mostly on my nose and forehead) and my face kinda oily in t area, I use face wash(nivea all in one facewash) and then moisturizer(nivea oil control moisturizer), my mom asks me to put talc. But I am assuming the moisturizer and talc counteract. And as far as I heard applying dry products increase oil secretion from skin. So should I apply only oil control moisturizer or moisturizer and talc?

I was diagnosed with a staph infection in and outside my nose. My nose was so red I could have been Rudolph'sister!! Anyways it would go away and come back again over and over every time getting worse and worse. I would get soars in my nose and on my top and bottom lip. It itches and burns and stings all at the same time. I now believe that my staph infection turned into perioral dermatitis. Is this possible?
What's a girl to do? How do I rid myself of these itchy, puss filled blisters. Also makes for uncomfortable sitting.
