ambien

Avatar n tn Exactly as Plymouthgirl has told you. Regular Ambien is not to be prescibed to take more than 10 mg or Ambien CR 12mg per night and should NEVER be used more than 7-10 days as per the Ambien Website. Ambien is highly addictive and even used for a short period of time can mess your sleep up for months.
Avatar m tn my doctor told me to stop taking ambien cr but i think it is the clonazepam that is causing my confused thoughts and how should i quit
Avatar m tn There were no instructions to wait taking the Paxil, so it should be alright to take the half a pill tomorrow? She also gave me Ambien CR instead, which is pricey. With my 10% copay it was 18.00 for 30..... 6 bucks a pill if the total is 180.00.
148588 tn?1465778809 For example, Gilead’s own Stribild, a costly new four-in-one combo treatment for HIV/AIDS, is $80 per pill. At $1,000 per pill, Sovaldi costs 1,100% more than Stribild, the most-expensive AIDS combo drug on the market. In addition, Gilead is charging a higher price for this drug even though the cost to produce it is small. According to industry reports, Gilead produces Sovaldi for approximately $1.00 per gram (with only 10 to 30 grams needed to successfully treat patients with Hepatitis C).
Avatar f tn The ONLY sleeping pill that worked for me was Ambien CR. However... the next day I felt like I was drunk with a hangover... Not for me... The doctor has prescribed Medical Marijuana. Haven't smoked it since college days, but for me, it beats any sleeping pill and most likely safer. I use a vaporizer instead of rolling it or smoking it in a pipe. This cuts down dramatically on carcinogens. There will be pros and cons forever and ever, amen about this subject, but for me, it was miraculous.
Avatar m tn I started taking Alprazolem for anxiety 15 years ago. Since then I only take .5mg at night to help me relax and fall asleep. I now find the the 1 pill at night is not helping me sleep. So I started taking Ambien CR and stopped taking the Alprazolem. I'm sleeping great, but feel terrible in the morning. I feel nausea and tingling numbnest in my arm and face. Do you think its from the Ambien or from me stopping the alprazolem. Any advice?
Avatar f tn Self-pay patients, a monthly (#30) day supply costs $135.00. Three years ago, Ambien cost $3.00 per pill. A very well know insurance company would cover Ambien, but only for a 15-day supply. When I called the insurance company to inquire why they did not pay for a 1-month supple (#30 tablets) which my physician had written for, they told me that there's was a new trend regarding peoples' sleep patterns; in that, people are only going to sleep every other day. Real comical....NOT!
Avatar f tn m tapering directly off of it. Taking more ambien per day for a longer period could involve a much different approach to tapering. Your doctor will have the answers. Best of luck to you.
Avatar m tn 00 plus the 200mcg of copegas was $6.00 per pill. So with that in mind 1 shot per week and 1200mcg of ribavirin it costs about $852.00 per week time 48 weeks comes to $40896.00 just for the meds. GSDgirl - I'm on a clinical trial right now and they pay me $25.00 per visit and the Tests, Pegasys, Copegas and PI is free. Anything required outside of the trial I have to pay for like rescues and stuff. I did have to fill out a tax form so I guess I'll get a 1099 at the end of the year.
Avatar n tn Ambien CR does come in 12.5 mg -- I have some. the regular ambien does not, but ambien CR does. just clarification.

Avatar f tn Then, 30 minutes before actually going to bed I give him Ambien CR. The regular Ambien was not working at all. Ambien CR on the other hand seems to calm him down and there has been less action. I also placed a body pillow between us and that seems to curtail some of the aggressiveness. It gives him less space to move around and I feel safer. Yes, he speaks while he is asleep, (more of gurgutal sound than words) but it has come down a bit.
783281 tn?1259691431 Congrats on getting off the fentanyl, how much and how long were you on it?I've been on 150 every 48 hrs for 3 yrs but have been on it for 8 yrs altogether,I don't think I'll ever get off of this **** and it's doing e more harm now then good I think. As for the trazadone, without it ,I would never get a good night sleep, although anything less than eight hours of sleep while taking will make you feel groggy and like a hangover.
763205 tn?1234422576 How many pills did you take after going back and counting the tablets? It's not uncommon for people who take ambien or Ambien Cr to not remember doing something. They fall asleep and don't know they're sleeping, so the end up taking more pills because they don't remember taking the 1st one and the cycle keeps on going. I've heard horror stories of people racking up credit cards, diving and cooking while on Ambien.
Avatar m tn Hi again I would like to add that yes we have all see the posts about side effects that some people have experienced. Most if not all are related to treatment with interferon and while the problems those people have experienced are not good they are experienced by a minority of patients. Also I believe at least some of them had other medical conditions which most likely complicated their treatment or their livers were already in bad shape to begin with.
Avatar n tn hello, i was wondering how much it cost for my cat to get his 2nd booser shots and how much the cost is to fix him
Avatar m tn I'm no doctor, so I definitely can't give you any medical information on Ambien, but I can relay my personal experience with it. I've been on Ambien (currently 10mg) for SEVERAL years now (5 or more). I have many chronic pain conditions, including fibroymalgia. One of the major symptoms of fibro is insomnia - which I definitely suffer from!
Avatar n tn I have been taking 5mg of generic ambien for about 5 yrs. I take a pill every night. If not I am worthless during the day from lack of sleep. I know that this is discouraged but since I have to work, I have no choice.
Avatar f tn t said if he is taking Ambien or Ambien CR. The Ambien CR helped me MUCH more than the regular Ambien. Of course I never slept the whole night through but a few hours then I'd wake up about 2 but I was able to go back to sleep usually even if it was several times a night. Good luck, I've never been much of a good sleeper but if it gets that bad I would seek out a sleep clinic doctor place - he could have sleep apnea or something that is compounding the situation.
Avatar m tn Ambien CR costs $200 versus $6 for the regular stuff. We did talk about it, and I wanted it, but at $200 a month it just ain't gonna happen. So I'm sticking with the Ambien for now. I don't really want to take higher dosages of temazepam. And like you say, getting off of ambien isn't that difficult, just a bit time consuming as you ramp down the dosage.
Avatar n tn Three suboxones are a lot to taper that quickly from. You dont really say what opiates you were taking , how strong, how much, and for how long.My doctor told me that if you have been on Morphine or Heroin or oxycotin for example for a year or more on relatively high doses, that it will take a good year for the brain chemicals that usually are in correct proportions to reassert themselves.
323551 tn?1255174750 If your not using the Ambien CR, and just Ambien...I would swtich to the CR. It helps you sleep longer (from experience). The benadryl is probably what is causing the "fog" the next day. You could also try clondidine for a week or two, .1mg twice per day. It will help you sleep at night, as well. I have had luck with the clonidine and am using the Ambien CR right now as I taper down.
