Unfortunately not. If there was a drug that truly relived fatigue that pharma company would make zillions! All of us with ESLD would be lined up waiting for the drug store to open. The best thing I have found is moderate exercise. If you are very fatigued just walking can be helpful. I know when you are tired and run down the last thing you want to do is exercise but it does work. Don't over do it or you will be more exhausted.

I've had IBS for more than 12 years now. My symptoms basically present as a very urgent need to the bathroom one or more times a day (usually more). I've always been able to make it to a bathroom somewhere when this has happened, so I've never had any kind of accident. I don't know if you would call extreme urgency 'involuntary defecation', but I could imagine a scenario in which it could become that if I didn't make it to the bathroom in time.

If you go this route, please talk in depth with a pediatric nutritionist. How are you going to be sure the baby gets enough of the most critical vitamins and minerals? It sounds difficult, and risky, and like after you puzzle out the proper ratios of all the vitamin powders and work out how to decide how much iron to put in the dropper and all, it won't be worth all the energy (or the extra money).
