Its good your fiance doesn't smoke in the house or around you but he should get into the habbit of not smoking in the car either. The nicotine can settle into the fabrics which is the same as smoking a cigarette while being in the room with the baby.

Look if you're that worried about your baby then seriously just stop going over there. Think about it if you will. You either be alone or go to your grandma's where you will inhale second hand smoke which is way worse than smoking itself. t tell they were until this lady literally exhaled the smoke almost in my face as she walked by and I definitely inhaled some second hand smoke -- it was that strong. So, this first happened when I used to smoke weed when I was younger. I tried so many different strains of weed to see if it was just that specific weed but got the same effect every time so I stopped smoking and thought I was just allergic to it or something(because it would happen even if i took just one hit). but then I tried LSD and it happened to me too, so it must be something wrong with my brain, especially because everyone I tell about this has never heard of it happening.

Second hand smoke is very dangerous!! Also third hand smoke, which is being in a home that has smokers but they never smoke around you. It is on the coverings of the house and it seeps in the walls etc... My kids never were sick except for when their grandmatoher came to see them and hold them they always got ear infections! I had her change clothes when she got there and wash her face if she was to kiis them and her hands and arms and they never got an ear infection again!

A note on second-hand smoke. Insurance companies rate people who smoke; i.e., they charge the applicant more. However, I have never known of a case where a non-smoker was ever rated. (My husband is an insurance agent.) Insurance companies are in the business of making money and their underwriters are very savvy about risks. I know its there life they can smoke all they want but sometimes it irritates me a little because its my life too and i dont get a say in if i want to smell it or be prisoner to second hand smoke.
