I know it will take awhile to get over the cravings, I was just wondering how long it actually stays in your system. Thanks for your input and I did not think your post was negative.

Following wisdom teeth extraction I was given vicodin. I liked the way it made me feel and how it made dealing with everday problems seem easier. I've been taking about 10mgs a day (all at night) and 100mgs of tramadol during the day for about 6 months now. I've had enough and tapered down to almost nothing for a week before stopping completely. It's been 5 days now since I've had anything.

Thanks for the replies, this is something I have dealt with since I was a young child. I have seen 8 doctors for this issue in my life, including two Neurologists, and two pain specialists. I have tried everything you can imagine. Imitrex was probably one of the first things they tried me on, as well as a host of others. I have tried injections, including botox (if you can believe they use that for migraines..) sprays (nasal sprays), changes in my diet, testing for allergies.

There is no good answer for either of us, but that is not why I asked the original question. I just wanted to know how long the vicoden would stay in her system. I have already decided that I am going to test her, and that if she doesn't stay off of them, she is going to have to deal with it by herself. I know it sounds harsh, but I'm not going to watch her ruin her life, my life, our kids lives, her families lives or kill some inocent bystander.

Everyone is different, but for me, the withdrawal symptoms lasted about a week, and peaked in intensity about days 3 and 4! Hi Britt, Maybe you could try a slow taper. It wouldn't be so traumatic to your body that way. Decrease your dosage by 1 pill every 6-7 days. When you get to 2 or 3 pills a day spread your dose out as far as possible. Tapering is difficult but makes the withdrawals more manageable. There is a lot of good info in the health pages as well.

Ok the title says it all lol, How long does marijuana stay in your system? I never did marijuana so don't know is for my nephew he keeps saying he is not doing any and every test is positive and occording to him the last time he use was 5 months ago but every month the test is positive. What do you guys think? is it like he says that it stays in your body for a long time or he is still using?

Oh, one question... What type of stomach problems? Did you mention the stomach problems to your doctor? Did she think that the stomach problems were because of a panic attack? If the stomach problems are a badly upset stomach, then I would go to Another doctor and let them know that you recently had the gardasil vaccine and you exerienced an upset stomach (mention this first) as well as the other more common side effects that you mentioned.
