What it feels like is the chronic post nasal drip I have has caused congestion in my upper chest. However, the weird part is, I really have no cough, and the occasional cough has never brought anything up. In the past, if my chest begins to feel this way, it is followed by the painful cough and coughing stuff up. I would not call what I have sometimes as pain, it feels more like irritation. When I am active, as well as when I drink a lot of water, it seems to be much better.
I have severe chest congestion. This has been going on for about 3 months. It's strange because I will have constant congestion and cough one day and the next day I will be almost clear. You are just sick with some bug and you should ask your parents to take you to see the doctor and be treated. The thing about your period is normal. I have these same issues. I take an omeprazole every morning, seems to do well for me throughout the day, but in the A.M. for the last 3 months the congestion has gotten worse... If it is reflux shouldn't the omeprazole help me?
Can anything be done to lessen or prevent this from occuring?

I can't make any connection between the nasal congestion and the chest pain. Did they start about he same time?
My question is the the last 3 months as I am laying down for a while I get a gurggle feeling in my chest and it almost feels like congestion so I make a cough to see if that would help and I have no congestion at all and the cough doesnt help. When I stand for a minute is when it will go away.

The first time was during the afternoon last week when I was having a squeezing heaviness in the center of my chest. The nitro made my heart pound and moved the center of the heaviness upward toward my throat, and gave me a throbbing headache. After a half hour I finally fell asleep, and when I woke up an hour later, the chest heaviness was gone but the headache was still there.
I almost at 40 days off of norco but still have dilated pupils and moderate blurry vision. When I read my eyes grow sore and red causing headaches at times. How long can I expect this to last/what have others experienced? Also nasal congestion and pressure, is this too a residual part of withdrawal?
For last 1 1/2 weeks my chest has a pain in the center. Notice in the morning after laying down and when I swallow I feel pain. I had a cold/flu approx. 6 weeks ago and was able to function after about 2 days. However, I have had a persistent cough that never seem to go away. Its not all the time once I am up in the morning it eleveates for the most part but annoying. I have recently started on ibuprophen and it helps a little. I do not feel like I have congestion.
