I cannot say how oxycodone will make you feel in comparison with methadone. I can however, share that in my experience, oxycodone is a much less debilitating medication. It causes less somnolence than methadone, and is not as effective as a pain medication. For some who get great analgesia from methadone, other medications can help with the side effects. For example, I used ritalin for the years I was using methadone.

and by the way they often send out the urine to a lab AFTER you pee in the test strip cup they do this (commonly) to not only confirm the drug prescribed is in your system but to check the LEVELS of the drug in your system that you are prescribed this is how they catch people that sell their meds and then think they can take 1 or 2 of them before their appt and they will show up on the immediate test strip so they will be fine...WRONG. I hope you are not one of these people.

Wannabe is sort of correct, the active ingredient for both the percs and oxys are exactly the same. Oxys are "time released" and therefore are suppose to last longer in your system, however if you break them up, snort them etc.. you violate the time relaeased mechanism and the 1/2 life of the narcotic is the same as any oxycodone pill.

Ok the title says it all lol, How long does marijuana stay in your system? I never did marijuana so don't know is for my nephew he keeps saying he is not doing any and every test is positive and occording to him the last time he use was 5 months ago but every month the test is positive. What do you guys think? is it like he says that it stays in your body for a long time or he is still using?

I know it is short acting but how long does it stay in your system? Is it 4 or 6 hours? The reason I am asking is sometimes if I have an attack and it helps but by bedtime I might start feeling like I'm going to have another. Oh, one question... What type of stomach problems? Did you mention the stomach problems to your doctor? Did she think that the stomach problems were because of a panic attack? If the stomach problems are a badly upset stomach, then I would go to Another doctor and let them know that you recently had the gardasil vaccine and you exerienced an upset stomach (mention this first) as well as the other more common side effects that you mentioned.

My husband broke three ribs in Feb. & has been on delodid (sp?), then Percocet, now Oxycodone. He quit cold turkey two days ago & is going through pure hell! How long will these symptons persist? We called the pain management Dr. today & he suggest taking another oxy & weaning his way off. He is afraid to take another pill...thank GOD! He want off but is feeling extremely depressed...aching all over, chills, etc. Any help or suggestion on what to do is greatly appreciated!
