vesicare

1188179 tn?1350116119 I have been on Ditropan, then Ditropan XR (or EX, don't remember which is correct) and after about 10 years that didn't work, so my doctor put me on Enablex and that works pretty well. Then I got a new Dr. and he wanted to switch me to Vesicare. That didn't work well, either, and I began having episodes of incontinence and urgency again. It's almost open enrollment for Medicare Part D, and the plan that is the most affordable otherwise doesn't cover Enablex at all anymore.
Avatar f tn I found that Vesicare worked brilliantly for my urgency and spasms, it took about a week to get in my system but I dubbed it the wonder drug as it honestly changed my life, or was life changing, I could go out and not be governed by my bladder, ie: searching for nearest toilets etc.
Avatar m tn (about three years ago) I was ok for awhile and, now the severe pain has returned....which meant I had to return to my urologist....He gave me elmiron and vesicare to treat the IC....the Elmiron never helped my pain and, the Vesicare took my blood pressure from 113/72 pulse 68 to 153/103 pulse 122...I contacted my urologist and, he stated...that's not true ... neither of these meds would cause your blood pressure to go up...well, I called him back four days later...
1056851 tn?1318720978 I'm taking 5mg of Vesicare, too. My neuro's PA wants me to take 10mg, but it dried out my mouth too much when I tried it. It works pretty good - it's not perfect. I still get incontinence - but maybe not so often. It has also reduced my urgency and frequency, but again, it's not perfect.
Avatar m tn My 18 year old daughter spent the last 4 months weening off Pristiq and now feel she really needs something for depression and anxiety. So my question, how long to start feeling the effects of Zoloft? She is starting at 50 mg for a week then moving up to 100mg. Any information would be helpful.. I realize everyone is different, but would like to know some experiences.
Avatar f tn If you are planning on working after you have the baby, it is good to work for as long as possible before the baby comes. here's why--- that time you take off counts toward your short term disability and the family medical leave. There are maximum days associated with both of those and you'd be using them to have the baby early. I worked until close to my due date with my first taking a few vacation days.
721523 tn?1331581802 I saw the urologist today and he wants me to try VESIare for a few weeks to see if it helps with post-void bladder spasms. It actually has a heat warning on it and a warning about not taking it if yo are not enmptying your bladder. I am scheduled for the urodynamics test in 2 weeks. What do all of you think about this?
Avatar n tn does anyone get headaches from taking vesicare?? They seen to go away with advil. Anyone had these symptons, did they lessen with longer use of vesicare??
2102364 tn?1334181277 Oops wanted to add you to my watch list to hear how all goes for you and I forgot to put a check mark in the box--also apologies for such a lengthy post above--lol
Avatar m tn I should have said how long will it for the symtoms to begin to go away?
Avatar m tn Also will I get back to where I was previously and I long should I stay on the meds before I switch to something else to completely get rid of my symptoms. I would greatly appreciate any help and encouagement, especially if someone else has been through a similar senario. Thanks.
Avatar n tn Ok here goes: I'm 28/female, pretty healthy ... on 10/6, about 1 week before I was to leave for Vegas I was extremely nervous about flying. Out of the blue I started having frequent urination problems. No urgency (meaning I could hold it if I had too) but just frequent trips to the bathroom. No real pain or anything. I have an underlying anxiety disorder that is not controlled and I did start to panic about these symptoms which in turn probably made them worse.
Avatar n tn So I am still desperate for relief for the urge to urinate. No urologist can get me until for a couple of weeks. Is there anything I can take for relief that I can get over the counter? Would an ER doctor be able to help me with the contant urge to urinate? I have taken azo fast relief strips, macrobid, vesicare and urispas with no relief. I'm desperate!
Avatar f tn She did not appear however to be able to give an indication as to whether this medication would require to be used in the long term or whether it could lead to a resolution of the difficulties. She suggested that I would not however be able to consider taking this medication until after I try the physio and have a further appointment that will be in March 2009.
Avatar m tn I have been using VESICARE for some time now, it does decrease the number of visit to the bathroom, however when you stop using it...the problem comes back. Its like it just manages the active bladder but doesn't cure it. Been using it for more than 2 years now.
875426 tn?1325528416 I don't know- it's a squarish shaped ad with a kind of honey brown as the main color in the ad. It says what I mentioned above in it.
Avatar m tn The urologist I used to work for would probably do an IVP next, I think. CT scans supposedly make it obsolete, but CT scans deliver quite a bit more radiation. He used IVPs to identify stones, mostly. Not all stones show on plain x-rays, but an IVP shows blockage even if the stone doesn't show up on the film.
Avatar m tn I'm using Vesicare and Lyrica and I just got my urinalysis result and they're normal. Can Vesicare and Lyrica affect urinalysis? Are they antibiotics?
