I have been on opiates for 10yrs and now suboxone for the last 3 my question is HOW LONG till my body stops wanting this stuff???!!!! Mentally I'm soo ready to stop but I cant without going through the usual: runny nose, chills, the runs and all the others.. I have weened myself to 1mg suboxone a day but that doesnt seem to be enough.. What do I do next??

Those who have had the best successful stories concerning suboxone withdrawal ultimately got down to tiny crumbs or slivers of suboxone before quitting.. Unfortunately long term suboxone users have no way to do this pain free. There will be withdrawal. Everyone's story is differnt but the good stories I have heard are from those who went down to teeeny tiny amounts. And YES you will feel normal again (better than normal)--so long as you stay clean after sub.

Hi guys! hang in there, I am clean 35 days from Suboxone and still feeling no energy, murmurs, sleeplessness, anxious, dirreahea and feel depressed at night times. The first day was hell! I felt a big snake biting me and it took one day to feel that pain and afterwards I knew I can do this and get off Suboxone. I was on Suboxone 2mgs for 6 months and tried to taper down... Can anyone tell me how long Suboxone withdrawals last????

The withdrawal has not been bad but I am losing patience. How long does this last? I sure would appreciate any info. Does anyone know a time line for withdrawal. Thanks.

this kind of depression is completely normal. Maybe talk to you Dr. about short term anti depression med. I cannot speak from experience, I have been told by recovering (hard core) addicts that it takes about 8 months before normalcy returns and about a year and a half before your back to your old self.

SUBOXONE, its freakin evil n i wanna know how long these damn wd symptoms are gonna last. i was never perscribed suboxone i was heavy on the percs n oxys, my boyfriend was perscribed it and i started taking it, this is my third time getting myself off this i wanna die i cant take this feeling any longer i just wanna b normal.

My son is detoxing Soboxan and I wanted to know how long does one suffer the "come down"? He had a relaspe on heroin after being clean for 10 months. After a couple months of his relapse, he obtained Saboxan, (he said he needed for his withdrawl from heroin) so he just took the last of his Soboxan yesterday. I am wondering what to expect from him and his withdrawl.
