I have been weaning off Paxil from Paxil CR 25 mg, now on Paxil 10 mg (to avoid withdrawal) because I have been on for probably 10 years now. Unfortunately, after about 3 weeks on the lower dose I feel my lack of motivation, melancholy feelings, being less able to handle frustration with work etc all coming back. I really do not want to go back up on my dose of Paxil since it has such severe withdrawal effects if I ever go off it again.

So I only slept for about an hour, and I was sweating the whole time apparently. Now I'm awake, and shivering. This is horrid. Can anyone give me any idea how long I can expect the withdrawal symptoms to last? This is absolutely horrible. I've never experienced anything like it.
