How long does the treament take? My doctor said that it will be at least 6 months of antibiotics and supliments to

About 2 1/2 months post cataract surgery (one eye with crystalens), my retina doctor whom I had last seen the year before, re-examined me. He prescribed prescribed PredForte drops every hour for 3 weeks to reduce swelling in back of the retina. I have only been able to afford the generic and it is hard to remember every hour. If swelling does not go down, I will need a "shot". Is this the treatment you would use to reduce swelling or are there other methods?
