I am so sorry for what you have been going through. I started having migraines when I was 23. They couldn't diagnose me for 8 years because I had no migraine and had vomiting all night (only at night) and abdominal pain. The neurologist did an electroencephalogram and found it was a migraine. Thanks for the replies, this is something I have dealt with since I was a young child. I have seen 8 doctors for this issue in my life, including two Neurologists, and two pain specialists. I have tried everything you can imagine. Imitrex was probably one of the first things they tried me on, as well as a host of others. I have tried injections, including botox (if you can believe they use that for migraines..) sprays (nasal sprays), changes in my diet, testing for allergies.

I don't have much of a question, but wanted to introduce myself. I've periodically had migraines throughout my life, but they were never very often. Anyways, I have been using the Elidel for about 10 days now, and have NOT seen any noticable difference in my skin condition.

It takes 4-6 weeks for a med change to reach full potential in your blood, then after that, it can take another few weeks or even a couple months for your body to get well. While I don't condone sassiness and talking teenagers talking back to their parents, ask your mom to be patient and understand that the thyroid controls quite a few body processes, so without it, your entire body has to readjust and get used to the medication.

I went in for my lp test and some blood work, they said they thought they were sending the lp to the mayo clinic but werent for certain. They said it could take up to months? Does anyone know when i should except to get some tests answers from my doc? Or when I should call my doc and find out if they heard something? Has anyone else here tried Imitrex Injection? How did you find using the injection pen? Was it easy to learn how to use? Did you find it worked better then the other triptans? Thanks to anyone that answers who has any experience... or even anyone who has just been given a shot of Imitrex in the hospital before, how was that?

Not saying that you will, but saying that there is no guarantee it will even work in the way they plan for it to work. The goal with induction is to give birth vaginally (unless it was already known to be necessary for a c-section). Then again, there are also tons of women who go in, get hooked up to the Pitocin, and are on it maybe 3-4 hours if not even less, and give birth. Just depends on how your body does with induction. Nobody is the same in this aspect. Good luck!

I really think that as a recovering addict I will always have those dark periods, after all I was an addict for 24 years, and it is going to take some time to get back to normal. You did well by coming back online to express your thoughts.
