How long does flexeril stay in your system

Common Questions and Answers about How long does flexeril stay in your system

1401023 tn?1280784958 When will they make that magic pill and we all wake up pain free and STAY that way. So far as it being in your head, that really doesn't seem to matter in my mind. Whether it's perception of pain because of faulty receptors or actual pain, I still hurt. If I don't think I can breathe, I can't breathe! Doctors, UGH. Good luck MamaAng.
Avatar f tn I have now been off for a month or more and my diarrhea and anxiety and sweating are still plaguing me on an all-day long basis. This is a dangerous drug that stays in your body for a long time. It should not be prescribed as a "safe, non-addictive solution for pain" As it stands, I don't know when, or if, I will ever be well again...
Avatar f tn this is my first day without taking anything in a few months. i didnt sleep at all last night. how long does no sleep last?
Avatar m tn Heaps of water vitamin and get a hold of some urals and flush it out of your system faster. I'm semi okay now but I do know it's a long way to go yet, especially when you have chronic back pain. I'm a fully qualified personal trainer and lucky I will be right now winter is over to target the painful areas before next winter so I don't end up on these narcotics again. Good Luck with your own fight, cause your not alone with going thorough this heaps of people are too.
Avatar n tn Methadone could test positive even at 10 days. It does have to with a long half life and I have heard it accumaltes in body tissues. I am not clear on that. Buprenex-which is what you had has been a big dissapointment for me. Others have made it work. Buprenex has a long half life as well and you felt okay until the half life went down which took DAYS, 3 days sound about right where you would feel withdrawls escalate. I had the the same expirence I think as you have.
Avatar f tn (I hate those the worst.)how long does the lack of energy take to build back to normal? And lastly will I be able to enjoy life again? I'm 21 and I should be at my prime but I'm stuck in this vicious nightmare that doesn't quit.
Avatar f tn I have been giving this to him like prescribed. I was wondering how long these very long nights will occur. Any help would be appreciated.
655875 tn?1295698707 I don't know how long it takes to get this out of my system. My body does burn from the inside out and I do have bone pain, just not as bad as that first taper I did. Plus I can sleep 2-3 hours at a time before waking up. Last time I was up 4 days straight.
Avatar m tn When can I expect the withdrawals to end and how long does it take to get back to my normal self with no effects whatsoever of the Fentanyl? I seriously need help!
Avatar n tn I also can 't get comfortable in any chair. Does anyone know how long this all lasts? The headaches are pretty bad but I just assumed that I have migranes and they were choosing to kick in at the same time but I guess they are part of withdrawal too - whopee! I would appreciate any input from someone who has completely kicked this drug for a few months or years and can give me some help with the sleep problem as it is tough to maintain during the work day.
Avatar f tn I am having a hard time stopping and I know I need to . I have taken this for a long time. First, I was prescribed this med and then I found other ways to get it. Knowbody knows I take it as much as I do. Anyone....have some advice?
Avatar n tn It takes time, effort, and discipline to get this **** out of your system and for GOOD. I've just kept in mind how much more energetic and young I feel when I don't have to rely on pills to keep me going every day. It's hard as hell to detox from pills at first (again, depending on what you were taking, how much, and for how long). But as time goes on your cravings lessen and you feel like you've overcome something.
Avatar f tn How long do the withdrawals from suboxone last? I was on it for a year and 4 months. The doctor cut me off cold turkey. Plz Help Me!!!!
Avatar m tn The heart is a very strong and adaptable organ, and that it may have thousands of these ectopic beats per day (I have been recorded at over 4000 in 24 hours) really doesn't mean jack in terms of your ability to do the things you like. As you have probably noticed, no matter how nutty your pulse is, you can do housework, go up stairs, even work out at the gym. Your heart and circulatory system are compensating nicely for any odd beats, and your life should be physically normal.
Avatar n tn I am just surprised at how long and how strong the withdrawls are. In the past, 5 or 6 days and I would be in pretty good shape. However, this the first time I got into oxycotin and used percs together. I know the difference from say lora tabs withdrawls. I am an addict who wants instant gratification with no pain. Just an illusion. Okay, you suggest to get more clonidine, how long should I stay on it and how much a day to give some relief.
Avatar m tn I just hope that I can be a lesson that long term sub use does have withdrawals, and they can be severe. And this in my story. Wait2long, thank you for asking the tough questions. As addicts, we have to do that. When asked how I will know if I can staff of the hydros, guess my answer is my strength in God, and the fact I can have the life I once lived back again. I miss my old happy self. And so do my friends.
Avatar n tn and if so, by how often and how much? 2. does your spouse/significant other get involved with your pain meds meaning does he/she have access and monitor them to make sure they are not low? Our relationship is suffering because it always turns out the same - she will keep her med bottles in the drawer, I count them to see if she has enough until refills, and most of the time, she is short (last month for example, she was short 14 pills when I counted).
Avatar m tn Getting baseline bloodwork is always a good idea. Flexeril doesn't work for everyone. It is specific for muscle spasms. The receptors in your brain have some rebuilding to do. The Amino Acid protocol helps jumpstart this process. In the meantime it's normal to feel blah and difficult to amuse. Happier thoughts and warm fuzzy feelings take time. However if you have a history of depression or seem to be really struggling emotionally then go to your doctor.
Avatar f tn call your doctor and explain what's going on. I used to be in that situation every once in awhile where I would throw up the lortabs and run out a few days early, and the thing I discovered was that the best thing to do is to call the doctor the FIRST TIME you throw them up and say "I want to note in my record that I threw up some of the meds....
Avatar m tn My mother who is only 48 years old has been on the fentanyl patch 75mcg for the past 2 years due to having a fusion in her back. Then her pain doctor who she's been seeing for 5 and a half years keeps putting her on more medications. She goes in for cortizone shots all the time and he gives her epiderals quite frequently. About a year ago he started prescribing dilaudid 2 mg along with taking the patch. She is soooo doped up, I can't even have a conversation with her.
1324871 tn?1288985306 Maybe you could try the percocet again and cut them in half to build it up in your system. I feel awful for you. I hope you are able to obtain relief soon.
Avatar n tn if you love him and want to help him, first he needs to stop the denial, nothing can happen until he is honest with himself and friends and family and realize he is in long has he been taking the roxis? does he buy them illegally off the street if he runs out? are there times where he says he is sick with the flu and cant function? does he kind of nod (sleep) in and out of consiousness when its time to sit and relax? is he extremely moodie, angry when he has no drugs?
Avatar f tn I would call your current doctor also and tell the staff that they should remind the Doctor that your pregnant and if you do run out of the medications he has prescribed then the baby will suffer so he needs to refer you to someone to take over your care if he is not going to be there.
363110 tn?1340924019 I have a good support system in the form of my Husband and MIL and even my siblings if I need it. my mom is there to support me but I'd rather her not be there, she tends to trash talk/gossip/etc and she delt with a soma addiction for a while (never got professional help but managed to stop on her own) and has the whole "holier than thou" mentality about me which is NOT Condusive to my recovery.
363110 tn?1340924019 I think it has alot to do with how good your Dr is and how good their aim is and also how good you are at explaining exactly where your pain is. I have since had a spinal cord stimulator implanted and have not needed any injections since feb 20011. But my neck is starting to act up so I may in in for some soon. I wish you best of luck. Let me know how you make out. ............
Avatar n tn narcotic might have blunted some of your withdrawl symptoms the first 5 days (and that can help, although more common to use bup or darvon) and now you are left with no opiates in your system. If you got this far, you'll make it the rest of the way! Maybe you will need an extra few days, but you WILL feel better (at least from the acute withdrawl). Then, slowly, the remainder of your withdrawl syndrome will fade (the moods, energy, sleeplessness etc.). Hang in there!
Avatar n tn Can anyone tell me how long do these withdrawals last. I mean after how long will it get out of my system so i can feel normal again. i heard it takes 2-3 days. I hope somebody can answer my question. Thanks so much and god bless all of you.
