My question is if excessive sweating is a withdrawal side effect that anyone here has experienced and if so how long does this last? It’s really bad and I keep taking showers but I’m sweating so bad under my arms. It is disgusting. Also how long do Abilify withdrawals last? I’ve been taking the med for 3 months now starting out at 5mgs and have been on 15mgs for about a month now. I’m having mood swings (currently feeling good though with lots of energy) but I’m guessing this can be expected.
Oh god. Geodon has horrible withdrawal symptoms for most people who take it even after a short period of time. I hear it's like trying to come off of hard drugs. If you're lucky you won't have any withdrawal but I'm guessing you are by the nature of your question by asking how long your withdrawal should last. Everyone is different, but for me, the withdrawal symptoms lasted about a week, and peaked in intensity about days 3 and 4! It really does depend on how much and how long, to estimate how strong and long your symptoms will be! If you haven't already done so, please check out the Thomas Recipe at the bottom of the page! There are vitamins and supplements that you can take which will help with the withdrawal symptoms! Drink tons of fluids like water and Gatorade to help flush your system!
I'm so sorry for what you're going through. Couldn't the doc have just put you back on your prior dose? Cold turkey from Effexor is just NOT a good idea! I would recommend talking to your doctor ASAP!

I need to know if abilify decreases methadone? Has anyone been on these two meds at the same time? Can you tell me how it made you feel? I was prescribed abilify but haven't started it yet because I am unsure of the interaction. Some say it causes withdrawal for the methadone and some say it increases methadone, talk about confusing!! Please tell me your experience or opinion.
