When you do go off the Effexor, do a very long, slow taper. Mine was way too fast and I have really suffered. I did the percocet withdrawal first as well but the Effexor made the percocet withdrawals look like a piece of cake.
2030686 tn?1351688548 I started double therapy yesterday and I just wanna make sure my sides are normal.. I had the chills from time to time, but I was hot more. What I'm concerned about is my legs and hips hurt so bad I could barely walk. I 'm on a high dose of vicodin and it didn't seem to touch this pain. I had a small amount of chest pain on the left side, but it was mild pain and didn't last long. I took a hot bath for my legs and it helped for a little while, but the pain came back.
Avatar f tn The goal is to reduce the amount you take and let it even out in your system. Do you have a quit date planned? How many pills do you have left? WE'll try to figure something out for you to make it a little more bearable.
Avatar n tn I have done some research and have found nothing good about this drug. She has all side effects. She is on day 1 with NO geodon.
Avatar f tn I just started on Zohydro ER because the idea of not taking acetaminophen with hydrocodone was tempting. (There's a Black Box warning about the acetaminophen in Vicodin). The first day I started the Z. (about 5 days ago) I got less pain relief and much more pain than I had with 5/375 Vicodin! That's seems totally wrong but it happened. The dose of the Z is the same as I got for the number of 5/375s I took per day. Anyone else on Z. and how do you like it? Any side effects?
Avatar m tn all depends o how long and how much. what clair said for the physical, and figure one month total for all issues as far as anxiety, dark feelings etc. in a month you will be a new you, dependant on nothing but food. :o) say 24 for me and I am feeling better every day, you will too.
600857 tn?1230057770 OK, here's the "strange one" of the group. I have taken Vicodin for 4 years. It only makes me "grumpy" at the end of a day when I have over done my limitations and I am hurting and absolutely nothing works to ease my pain. My family knows when it's one of those evenings and they are kind enough to leave me alone and let me be a "B" all by myself. I don't even want to be around anyone. But those days are not often.
Avatar f tn As I went on, I started to feel more symptoms, chills, shaking, headache, mind fog, irritable bowels, extreme pain, weakness in arms and body, exhausted, and of course the blurred vision and other vision problems such as floaters, visual snow, light is too light, dark is too dark. I am still experiencing all of these symptoms at 1 month off now! Not able to exercise because of still rehabbing from the broken leg. When will these withdrawal symptoms go away? What about the blurred vision?
Avatar n tn Hello to all I have been taking 5/500 Vicodin for about the last 3 months about 10-15 a day. I was wondering how bad my DT's could be and how long they may last. I'm scared and could really use some thoughts and any helpful advise from anyone. Thank you so much!
Avatar n tn I take a Vicoden, and things are fine. I am also on the antibiotic Flagyl, which can have these side effects also. Have been pretty much bed ridden, so no exercise at all. Any chance I could be going through withdrawl after only a month? My doctor is talking about more surgeries if things don't straighten out from the last one, is withdrawl worse the second time?
