heat

Avatar f tn I ended up getting so hot because someone cut the wires to our outside air conditioner :( I've been using ice to cool myself down while the house does and I feel almost normal again, just need some sleep. And I've heard of where you live lol :) just don't have a clue where it is! I have only lived here since late July of last year (moved from Illinois) and have had a lot of trouble adjusting to the harsher sun even before I got pregnant.
Avatar m tn Is there such a condition as "heat sensitivity or heat intolerance" following a severe case of heat exhaustion or heat stroke? I've been a competitive athlete most of my life and ever since I suffered heat exhaustion a month ago, I experience very rapid heart rate, fatigue and dizziness when even sitting sedentary in a hot environment. Never experienced this before in my lifetime. No matter how much I hydrate beforehand, my body is reacting adversely while exposed to the heat.
Avatar m tn Symptoms are depression, lack of energy, insomnia, lack of motivation......that kind of thing. Depending on how long you used, they could go on longer. Not what you want to hear, I'm sure! I am still struggling with energy, and I am taking the vitamins and aminos too. It just takes a while! You aren't alone!
Avatar f tn Dehydration can cause nausea and lead to a vicious cycle where the dehydration and heat do lead to heat exhaustion because the nausea prevents the intake of fluids which just adds to the dehydration and leads to the body getting hotter and hotter.
Avatar m tn I remembered then in high school I got heat exhaustion when I went out for the field hockey team and had a fever of 103 and it took a whole day to recover and I was an athlete then, but not now. 2 of my coworkers have both lost days to heat so far and neither of them have heart issues so I'm being very cautious from now on.
Avatar f tn A year ago I believe I suffered some heat exhaustion/stroke and since then, when i start getting hot during activities, i get chills up and down my spine, arms and legs. Avatar m tn I did have two anxiety attacks but that was 3 weeks ago and I'm not stress out about anything I'm rely a com person
Avatar m tn It has really interfered with my ability to think clearly and lucidly. Is it possible that these car naps caused me to have some sort of heat exhaustion damage to my brain? Even if I were extremely exhausted, would my body be alerted out of sleep when the temperature or CO2 level gets too high before any damage to my nervous system begins? I have been to a neurologist several years ago and he says that eventually the headaches will go away.
Avatar f tn What I want to know is why do I have sheer exhaustion? I am so tired! How long will this last?
Avatar f tn I have read several commments regarding heat stroke/exhaustion. No one has mentioned swelling. If I exert myself when temps are hot and humidity high, my face and ears swell up. They itch and are bright red. The only thing that seems to help is a steroid shot and prednisone pack. My face and ears will peel almost like a sunburn. Does this happen to anyone out there? If I sweat during the night I will get itchy. Gold Bond medicated powder helps tremendously.
Avatar m tn I have had an episode of heart palpitations lasted for a week, it was triggered by heat exhaustion, they come to me at the form of single strong heart beats (extrasystoles), i'm 21 with no heart problems, how long will it take for them to go away?

Avatar m tn My husband suffered heat exhaustion a few days ago. He ran a fever of 101 all night w/ sweating off and on. Thinking he would be in the a/c he went back to work the next day and had to be outside to fix a part on the equipment he was running which set him off to a severe headache, he quit sweating, dry and hot, his muscles were starting to cramp and he said he felt like he could vomit, but never did. He had all the symptoms of a stroke, but didn't lose consciousness.
572651 tn?1530999357 My normal B/P is 90/50. Sometimes 88/52. I have occasional PVC's and bradycardia. I have had SA Node ablation x2 due to SVT's, which I think this is why my heart rate is brady. As far as feeling dizzy, that is obviously (since I know you are aware of this) common with low B/P. You stopped the calcium channel blocker that you take for angina. I would agree that this is most likely due to your autonomic nervous system.
Avatar m tn heavy sweating, paleness, muscle cramps, tiredness, weakness, dizziness, headache, nausea or , fainting. If these condition persists, it would be best to see your doctor for proper management. Avatar f tn it was found during routine annual blood work. I had a alot of the symptoms (bone muscle pain/weakness, severe exhaustion, mental confusion, loss of balance) but didn't know the cause. My GP prescribed 50000IU per week for 12 weeks. I am on week four and I feel absolutely no improvement. Can anyone tell me how long it took for them to feel better.
