My father wants to take me when I am 16 to have cosmetic surgery on my eyes so I can have the double eye-lid look. I have a couple a of questions~ 1/ How long does it usually last? 2/ Does it swell up or anything like that? 3/(childish but..) Does it hurt?(i'm serious) 4/ How much does it usually cost?(I'm insurance and health-care-less, but even so I don't think that covers cosmetic surgery. Also my eyes are rather small. My left eye is bigger than my right, by the way.

Yesterday I had a doctor's appointment. Everything was fine (BP etc) but I woke up this morning with swelling of the hands and my eyes very puffy. My feet are of course swollen but I know that's from the extra weight and standing up for a long period of time. Is this normal or could it be preeclampsia?

My left eye has been throbbing and I looked up my symptoms and it said I have eye strain . How long does it take to cure and howner do I cure it.

Usually the culprit for swollen eyes here is hot peppers....bit I learned that the hard way...but other things can do it...perfumes, deodorants, herbs, cleaners, etc. even things they give you at the docs....like those new hand stations for waterless washing...well they all have some serious chemicals....one that kill MERSA and so forth...well that's good, but their allergen record is NOT good....in fact most say "do not use any where near the face, mouth ot eyes.

Do you eventually have the thyroid out for that? Will the swelling ever subside for good if you have hashi? How often do they do a FNA to confirm Hashi? I HATE THIS AND WANT MY NORMAL LIFE (WITHOUT SWELLING AND CRAZY FEELINGS) BACK!

When I first got my new prescription I was seeing double vision pretty bad but it has gotten better over time. My question is how long does it take if you have been overprescribed to get back to normal and is there anything that could help? I was wondering...How long do goiters last after the hyperthyroid problem is resolved? I currently have thyroiditis caused by doing chemotherapy...I'll be done with the chemo in 6 weeks, and I was told to expect the hyperthyroid flip to hypo at that time and then normalize...So, is the goiter just inflammation that will reduce when the irritation is gone?
