There are some antibiotics that in some individuals can cause very deleterious side-effects that mimic body aches and pain, but could be more than that. Being stoic is great, but if something is going on you might be hurting yourself in the long run. Please call.

Here it is January 2014 and I am pretty sure I have one of the possible side affects of taking omeprazole, severe itchy skin. I produce more acid than normal and still get the acid gpoing into my lungs if I eat too late at night so 5 years ago my lung specialist changed the dose to one in the morning and two at night and it made a big difference.

While GERD could cause a few symptoms you describe it's unlikely it's causing the shaky, anxious, sweaty feelings. A reaction to meds can however including an allergic response that mimics panic attacks or heart problems. When you say that Prilosec didn't work out but you are on omeprazole? It's the same medicine--omeprazole is the generic. If Aciphex works and doesn't cause side effects, that might be a solution unless something else is going on.
