vicodin

Avatar f tn m still getting the cold sweats and not sleeping and just all around miserable. The question is How long does it take to get past this? My doctor told me I have an extra sensitivity to these pain killers cause most people require a lot more than I was taking to become addicted. I'm 56, going through menopause. I'm supposed to be having hot flashes not cold sweats lol Even now my hands are clammy and I am cold. I could sure use an encouraging word.
Avatar f tn Typical wd last 5-7 days with day 3 being the worse. Depending how long your taper has been it could be less severe and a lesser amount of time. If you are experiencing wd symptoms now during this taper then more than likely you are just supressing it for a while before it comes on. Taperring is a slow process and works better with hydrocodone than it does with oxy. I hope your detox is an easy one. Good luck.
Avatar m tn so i guess my real question is where do i start? how many pills do i set aside to ween off with, and how should i distribute them? i have 15 right now, how can i make this work!! i take about 5 a day right now by the way. thank you for reading, and please help!
Avatar m tn It does sound like it could be withdraw symptoms. Usually withdraw last about 7 days. The worst days are days 3-4. Just let him know that things will get better. Luckily he was not on the meds for very long so his withdraw will not be as severe as other peoples on here. He should be fine in no time.
Avatar f tn Id first like to say, joining this forum is my first decision in improving my current quality of life......Now, has anyone had experience in the withdrawal that comes with the use of hydrocodone? How long does the" flu" last? My treatment is ongoing, but as a full time student, I need more control. I've been in the bed for a month. Suffering from pain from endodemetriosis, polycystic ovaries, and migraines.
Avatar m tn 90 days is a common turning point, but it doesn't stop there. Yes, methadone can take a long time to recover from. I was on twice as much as you and it took me 10 months to feel good. It is rough, but totally worth it. Hang in there. Are you taking vitamins and getting enough electrolytes and amino acids? That really helps. What are your other symptoms, maybe we can help with supplements to get you through.
1677545 tn?1304794122 am I still in the early stages of withdrawal symptoms? And if so, about how many days are left, considering the current symptoms, until the worst is over?
Avatar m tn So after all that, do these symptoms have anything to do with the Hydrocodone (or lack there of) and if not what the hell was happening to me last night?
Avatar n tn Has anyone ever experienced the following symptoms during hydrocodone withdrawal: dilated pupils, nervousness, cold hands, sweating and talking about things which make absolutely NO SENSE. My husband is recovering from surgery and has stopped taking the pain medication. Last night, he began talking nonsense. He is also having vivid dreams that he swears are reality. I don't know if he is hallucinating or what but it is very scary. Can anyone shed some light on this?
Avatar m tn The physical symtoms go pretty quick but the mental struggle is the worse for me. It depends on how long she was on them too. I had a lot of panic with my withdrawals which was by far the worse thing for me. It has improved over time. My ears still ring a little. I haven't had as much motivation either but the physical part won't last that long. It is flu season and it is going to feel like she has the flu.
Avatar n tn What are the withdrawal symptoms from Hydrocodone and how long will they last? I've been taking 1 or 2 10-325s a day for about a year for knee pain and quit a few days ago. I'm suffering from nausea that lasts from the time I wake up in the morning until about 12:00 noon. And I still don't feel well even then. I would really appreciate this information, as I'm starting to think there is something seriously wrong with me. Thank you!
Avatar f tn are you already sober and experiencing withdrawal long after you quit? Or are you getting ready to withdrawal? Or are you asking do withdrawls alwys occur when quitting? Help me out then maybe I can help you.
