Common Questions and Answers about How long are percocet in your system

percocet

Avatar f tn Does anyone know or have an idea of how long it will take me to get this out of my system and feel better? What are the withdrawals like and how long do they usually last. Is there any sign as to what the worst of it is or what may indicate the end of the withdrawals? I would appreciate any information you have to offer.
Avatar f tn They stay in your system for up to 3 days I use to take them and test negative 24 hours later. It depends on how much you are taking and how often but not even heavy usage would stay in your system for that long.
386968 tn?1217351972 Wannabe is sort of correct, the active ingredient for both the percs and oxys are exactly the same. Oxys are "time released" and therefore are suppose to last longer in your system, however if you break them up, snort them etc.. you violate the time relaeased mechanism and the 1/2 life of the narcotic is the same as any oxycodone pill.
Avatar f tn There is really no easy way of detoxing from home. I have dealt with hundreds of addicts who have all told me horror stories of doing it by themselves. I would only guess that if are successful in doing it at home you don't end up in my clinic. Just in case you are curious, it takes us three to four days to detox a patient and get him/her back home drug free and feeling well on Naltrexone therapy (no opiates).
Avatar f tn Need to know how long it takes to detox percocet? My legs feel really jittery and uneasy, is this normal, when will the leg problem go away? I am off because my Dr is on vacation and I had no choice. I also am taking classes in school and would like to know if taking the percocet caused me not to grasp information. Does it affect your concentration. How long will it take to get my brain back to the normal functioning state. Thanks .
994863 tn?1251227076 r u weaning under drs care or on your own? if percocet is wat ur addicted to weaning should be strictly off that to minimize withdrawl.. what r ur other symptoms? do u have a primary doc?
Avatar m tn Thanks for the update-its always nice to hear how people are coming along. I love your positivity - it cant be said enough how a positive attitude going into this can make a huge difference in how and if you make it through.
Avatar n tn Oh, one question... What type of stomach problems? Did you mention the stomach problems to your doctor? Did she think that the stomach problems were because of a panic attack? If the stomach problems are a badly upset stomach, then I would go to Another doctor and let them know that you recently had the gardasil vaccine and you exerienced an upset stomach (mention this first) as well as the other more common side effects that you mentioned.
Avatar f tn Hello!! I also abused Percocet. You are early in your withdraw...it is going to take some time. The first week is pure hell I'm not going to sugar coat it. You will get through this!!!!!i am on day 19 today and still dealing with issues. After the first 7 days the physical withdraws will subside quite a bit. Stock up on items in the Thomas recipe...they will help!!!! How much and how long were you taking the percs? Stay strong and good luck to you!!
Avatar n tn Gosh i must say you are mighty helpful and i truly thank you a ton for going out of your way to help me with this issue. Thank you a million.
397118 tn?1219762250 Ok the title says it all lol, How long does marijuana stay in your system? I never did marijuana so don't know is for my nephew he keeps saying he is not doing any and every test is positive and occording to him the last time he use was 5 months ago but every month the test is positive. What do you guys think? is it like he says that it stays in your body for a long time or he is still using?
Avatar m tn I am not sure on that, but the best place to go for that question is your pharmacist- they are really helpful with medication questions.
Avatar n tn Like extream gravity on my body. My legs are tired and heavy, and the pain that I had before I was taking the Percocet seems to be worse. I'm considering a Pain Control Clinic that's drug free, but my question is - are these fatigue symptoms normal for this amount of time withdrawing?
Avatar f tn Thanks for your response. How long have you had this sleeplessness? Over the counter sleeping aids never helped me before I was addicted to Percocet. Hope someone can answer the question for both of us.
Avatar f tn Hello Rerenee, Welcome to our Pain Management Community. I am sorry to read that you are experiencing chronic pain. I see you live in Canada. I don't know a lot about your medical delivery system - or the opiate climate. If you were in the USA I would tell you that your chances are slim at finding a physician that will order opiate meds for you unless you consult a PMP Pain Management Physician). I don't know where your pain is located - or what is your DX (diagnosis).
Avatar m tn Why are you switching to Percocet after taking Sub, which leans toward helping you get off of the Percocet?
