Avatar n tn Did anyone get the mole removed from the foot of a child and how did they cope with it was it very painful for them?
Avatar m tn Hello, It can be a plantar wart or a corn on the foot. Warts are tumours or growths of the skin caused by infection with Human Papillomavirus (HPV).They are contagious when in contact with the skin of an infected person. They can be transmitted. For small warts several medications(like podophyllum resin, Podofilox (Condylox), Trichloroacetic and bichloroacetic acids, Imiquimod 5% cream and interferons) are available, which can be applied directly to the surface of the warts.
Avatar n tn While there is a tiny possibility of a verruca virus infecting your mouth, that strand of HPV obviously prefers the hard dry skin of the foot, and probably wouldn’t adapt well to the moist conditions in the mouth. There are around 90 to 100 types of human papilloma virus (HPV). The various HPV types will be found on particular parts of the body e.g. genital warts, hand warts and verrucas on the feet. The different types prefer different types of skin (e.
Avatar m tn Additionally the lesion is in a weight-bearing area which is a common site of corn formation. A simple way to check if it is a wart or corn it to apply pressure on it. If you apply a direct downwards push with your finger and it hurts it is most likely a corn, if it hurts more when you squeeze it from the sides (like squeezing a pimple) it is most likely a wart.
Avatar n tn what should i do? i have a cyst or a lump (or whatever u call it) at the foot of my penis, at the pubic hair area..what do u think is it? is it safe or something i should worry about or have it remove?.
Avatar m tn He could have a split in the nail (like when a human breaks a nail down into the quick) and it's very painful for him. He could also have something stuck in the pad that is so small that you can't see it. I had a dog that had a minute piece of glass stuck in his pad and he was 3-legged lame until the vet did actual surgery to remove the glass. I wouldn't give it even a few more days. If he is still tender on it tomorrow I would call the bet by tomorrow afternoon.

280369 tn?1316702041 There are some tricks to figuring out what is a head, butt, foot, or hand. A foot will feel firmer and larger than a hand (we're talking baby large, LOL! Not adult large). When you press down on what might be a head or butt, the head will "bounce back". Like you'll push on it and it will push back or go back to the place it was. A butt will move wherever you push it and it will feel SOFTER than a head, for obvious reasons. Legs and arms can be difficult to distinguish.
973741 tn?1342342773 Research chimpanzees should be kept in groups of at least seven, with about 1,000 square feet of outdoor space per chimp — roughly one-sixth of an acre for a group of seven, according to the proposal. The space must include year-round outdoor access with a variety of natural surfaces such as grass, dirt and mulch, and enough climbing space to let all members of large troupes travel, feed and rest well above the ground, and with material to let them build new nests each day, the report said.
Avatar n tn Hi , for about 2 yrs my boyfriend has had this terrible rash on top of his foot it's only on the top he has been treating it with anti fungil cream the entire time and it has only gotten bigger he has also tried hydrocortisone creme as well but nothing is working and I'm getting afraid it's something much more serious.
Avatar f tn I would also check for hotness to the touch, redness, fever common. what are your pain levels? I would make a call into your nurse on your insurance card and see what the recommendations are if it is an infection and hot to the touch I would say go to the ER because you don't want to chance losing your foot. But the burning sensation does sound like nerve pain.
Avatar m tn At the age of 75 how long will it take to regenerate the cells of a broken bone in a foot?
Avatar m tn I use the same toilet with two people those who are hiv positive. It's the public toilet in an office; Normally, I wear shoes, but that day my foot injures--wound from my nail cuts my finger. The wound doesn't pass for a long time; just 1.30hr-2hr. So I walk and use the toilet with my foot in socks -- no shoes at all.
Avatar f tn Are you my boyfriend?? LOL! Seriously, tho, you could have just written his fetish bio with your description of yourself. Exactly the same, from a young age, obsessed with women's feet in heels (especially when they are in nylons!) He LOVES the smell of a bit of "clean" female foot sweat mixed with the nylon and shoe leather from a day of wearing - it drives him absolutely bananas.
Avatar n tn I have not seen this anywhere online, but what I have found that there seems be nerve groupings in the head of the penis that simulate different areas. For instants; the back of the head of the penis where it meets the shaft and lobes out, seems to stimulate the prostate, while front right of the head, again at bottom, stimulates the left testy and causes a sensation in the left sole of the foot, the left side of the head mirrors the right.
Avatar m tn person, meaning no other medical conditions, can take up to 8 weeks to fully heal. It is not unheard of for fractures to take up to 12 weeks to heal. If your foot still hurts a lot it may be time for a new xray to make sure your bones are healing. Your orthopedist can then decide how to proceed with further bracing, casting, etc. Probably doesn't help much, but I hope I helped.

545896 tn?1214447816 Shoes that are too tight or too loose can cause foot blisters. Also remember to check the inside of the shoe for worn areas or seams which may cause friction against the skin while walking. Using some form of powder before putting your socks on can help to keep the feet dry. Using talcum powder, cornstarch or foot powder is an excellent way to avoid moisture in the foot area. There are special lubricants, sprays and creams that specifically prevent the occurrence of foot blisters.

780133 tn?1236228598 I have lost dorsiflexion of my toes, lost sensation in a portion of the top of my foot and the big toe, and have heightened pain sensation to the plantar section of the foot. I also have SEVERE shooting pains throughout the foot, (some in the heel, some in the instep, some in the toes, and some along the outer portion of the plantar foot.) These pains are more intense than anything I have ever felt.
Avatar f tn Blisters usually come from a fold in the sock, rubbing in an irregular way on the foot. Or a place where the sock has a hole, or where the leather of the boot is rubbing harder than other parts of the foot. What about the fit of his shoes? How good quality are they? And his socks? He would actually be less likely to get blisters if he went around in flip flops or barefoot.

1218873 tn?1300091216 I get a lot of feet cramps and the past couple of nights I will wake up to a cramp in the top of my left foot closer to the ankle. Hurts like hell. It wont go away for several minutesI try walking it out or rubbing it and it seems to make it worse. This has happened to me 3x already in one night. I hope it doesn't have anything to do with my heart.
