Just diagnosed with a 43% ejection fraction and my doctor prescribed Avapro. Is this the proper treatment?? He gave me samples of 150 mg tablets and said I could cut them in half and just take a half a pill once a day. What do you think about that?

S STARTED TO INCREASE WHEN I STARTED TAKING THE PROTONIX AND AVAPRO. I CAN SEE HOW THESE TWO CAN BE CONNECTED. THERE ARE NOT MANY DOCTORS OUT THERE THAT ARE CONCERNED ABOUT PVC'S. SOMEONE CAN TELL ME UNTIL THEY ARE BLUE IN THE FACE THAT THE PVC'S ARE HARMLESS BUT I STILL WORRY LIKE CRAZY!!!!

Treated with 3 different meds (HCTZ, Avapro and Atenolol), suddenly, approximately 4 weeks ago I began getting dizzy spells quite frequently. My pressure during these spells is quite low, often 90/60 or a bit lower. The doc has done CT scan, no brain tumor, blood work, nothing remarkable, urinalysis, nada, she keeps throwing things like Lupus, Parkinson's, ALS at me and now I am terrified! Wouldn't the blood work eliminate some if not all of these diseases.

The medication prescribed to me is Avapro HCT 150mg/12.5mg (Irbesartan and hydrochlorothiazide) taken once daily (1 tablet) mainly to help ensure the blood pressure remains under 140 systolic, which is believed to help reduce the pressure on the aorta and root. I am booked in for a second opinion with another cardiologist next week mainly to re-assure myself and my wife (and kids) that things are chugging along okay.

I have been suffering with a health issue that I believe now to be thyroid but getting no where with it. A few months ago I began to lose energy and drive. I've always been very high energy with little health issues. So from the decreasing energy came no drive, then this extremely annoying anxiety which is at some times debilitating.

They are suppose to strip my membranes how does that work? Does it hurt.

I have 5 days till my due date and baby doesnt seem to want to come any time soon. The doctor said is I went to 41 weeks they would probably induce me. How exactly does that work? I thought it was just some kind of medicine they gave you through an IV but a friend said something about them sticking a needle up there.
