So I was just wondering how you ladies avoid throwing up. They're going to give me anti nausea medicine before the test and im gonna drink some water beforehand so it won't be so strong.

If you throw up constantly then most likely you will rupture a vein in your throat. I did it with both pregnancies. The won't do anything about it. It's not a health concern apparently. They will just try to prescribe you meds to help with nausea.

You should go to the ER and/or call your doctor. You should never throw up blood. It could be a sign of internal bleeding.

m not except one says i am. I still eat and sleep alot. Still be feeling like i got throw or sometimes i do throw up. I have my periods and they on time now. It is a natural, unconcious habit that kicks in when you think that were in a percieved threat - so our sympathetic nervous system kicks in, causes our blood to flow to the biggest muscles so we can move immediately and our heart rate speeds up, blood pressure goes up, you may feel a bit lightheaded as well due to the blood going to your legs and arms for the fight or flight response.

I was just wondering if anyone has the reason this occurs after the 3 years since this question was first asked? When I vomit I do strain alot and dry-heave. I do not actually throw the blood up but the blood always occurs after vomiting...while I spit. If anyone can tell me why this happens it would be so great. Have your doctor check you for whooping cough. If you cough so hard that you throw up, it may be that. If you have GERD or Reflux, you may not necessarily have heartburn or chestpain. Your stomach may secrete extra acid and this will cause symptoms like coughing/choking. If you do have GERD the medicine NEXIUM would help tremdously.

I encourage you to follow up on this to confirm that indeed you do have genital herpes. Did you have any initial testing or just a looksee? Do you have a regular partner? If so have they been tested yet? Also are you also posting under another name? This story sounds very familar.
