Avatar n tn I had a breast lift w/ lipo 20 months ago- my left breast has been feeling like something is tearing inside and I have a strange, almost achey feeling in the breast and towards my armpit. This breast is larger than the right, but always has been. I also gained apprx 15 lbs since then and am not sure if this has caused these feeling. I am at a point where I don't know if I should be concerned and go back and see the cosmetic surgeon or should I see my family doctor.
192055 tn?1263555537 When I was 14ish, my collarbone dislocated at the Sternoclavicular joint... where your collarbone and breast bone meet. Ever since then, my SC joint would dislocate constantly throughout the day (pretty much with any arm movement... 15-20 times a day?) The doctor I saw at the time said it would heal in a year... that it was common in young girls since bones aren't fully matured at that age. My doctor said he didn't recommend surgery since I was so young.
Avatar m tn I am just on the fence about having surgery because I have small breast and if no cancer is found, I will have scared my body for nothing .... But then do I run the risk of cancer later on if I don't have the surgery?? I just turn 40 and have no family history so this is very puzzling and new to me.
1222635 tn?1366396286 No hon I haven't...in fact I'm contemplating reduction. I'm a 36 DDD/EE....and I'm still losing weight but the cup size isn't budging. I can literally stand up straight and all the vertibrae in my back pop at once because they're being pulled out of alignment by my breasts...so don't go too big. trust me it may look great to have a D chest but it's not all it's cracked up to be...I used to be a 28DD and it HURT.
Avatar f tn I am 54 years old and I think that I look matronly because my breasts are sagging. Could you tell me about "breast lift" surgery? What does the surgery entail? How long would I have to take off from work? Are there a lot of scars?
Avatar f tn Before I has my two children, I had c cup breasts. I breast fed for a year and now my breasts are back to a c cup but with d cup skin. My areolas are huge! My husband has admitted that they "aren't as nice as they used to be." I'm interested in a breast lift and areola reduction, and wanted to hear some of your experiences. How bad is the scarring and healing process? How much does this typically cost?
Avatar m tn In breast lift, only a small amount of tissue is removed for shaping purpose but in breast reduction, a more significant volume is removed to actually changed the cup size of the breast. To simplify matters, breast reduction surgery is a breast uplift procedure but with a significant changes in breast volume with removal of tissue.
Avatar f tn I would like to do a forehead lift surgery. But I haven't heard much about it. Does anyone have any experience? This discussion is related to Tummy Tuck problems.
Avatar n tn Due to the usual reasons for sagging skin - aging, chronic dieting and genetics, I am considering a buttocks lift. I am worried that I may be bringing unforeseen medical/health problems into this relatively late stage of my life from what seems a pretty radical surgery which also leaves inch wide scars that run along the backside. How much pain and suffering is there? How long does it take to recover and resume a physically active life - vigorous daily exercise, jogging, sports, dancing, etc.
954941 tn?1256340964 I didnt tell my mom about it when i was younger because i thought it was normal and as my breast grows it will pop out but i recently turned twenty and i'm beginning to feel their is no hope for my boobs. Avatar f tn I am not getting answers to my questions about how this happened? I did not have drains in my breasts however I did in my stomach and that incision site healed fine. Is it because of not having drains? I'm losing confidence in my PS and feeling a great deal of regret about the surgery I chose and the PS to do it. Please tell me your thoughts and recommendations.
Avatar f tn Had my Daughter 5 days ago yesterday i squeezed the milk out till my breast stopped hurting they sent my pump to the wrong address how do i make them not hurt so much without having to waste my milk ?
Avatar f tn You really do need to have a breast surgeon do the surgery if at all possible. The sentinel node biopsy eliminates the need for complete axillary lymph node removal unless cancer is found in the sentinel nodes. The fewer lymph nodes removed, the less the chance of complications such as lymphedema. A great deal of your decision should be based on the actual tumor, i.e. the size, the type, the grade.
Avatar n tn I would opt out of the chemo but go for the double masectomy. I had six months of chemo and don't regret one second of it but in my case chemo reduced reoccurance by 25%. You are right. . they have served their purpose. I am 36 years old and had my left breast removed after finding a 5cm tumor. . .I wanted both off at the time of surgery(3 days after diagnosis) but the surgeon thought I needed more time to think about it.
Avatar n tn I had a breast lift with a very small implant put in about 10 years ago, now that I am unexpectedly pregnant Im very concerned about being able to breastfeed successfully! My implants are over the muscle and was done at the crease under the breast. I have two other children 1 of which I had absolutely no problems nursing, however that was before I got the lift!!! If anyone has experience with this or knows someone I would love to hear what you have to say!!!!! TIA!!!
Avatar f tn The reason they did not give it a 4 is because I had had a breast lift 4 years ago, and they said it probably is just the result of that surgery. Seeing that I have had a CT scan with 4 lesions on my liver as well, I was uncomfortable with that recommendation and asked to have it biopsied now. They told me they could do one cluster easily, the other one would need a surgical biopsy (because of it's location).
Avatar m tn which I kept off for 9 yrs, then after swallowing a couple of gallons of water for a colonoscopy, I started to gain and gained about 30 lbs back. I had tummy tuck and breast lift in 2008. I had knee problems and ended up having 2 partial replacement, and one redo with a total knee. When I came off pain meds after the knee surgery, my shoulder and neck began to hurt.
Avatar f tn I had a breast reduction surgery two month ago and my breast looks like rectangle than normal breast. Is there anything can be done or it reshape itself overtime. I heard that it will take 6 months to get the right shape . Please help.

Avatar f tn I had a partial breast reduction done back in 2009, more like a lift than a reduction. I don't think my surgeon cut off my mammary ducts and I still do have some sensation on my nipples. I'm 23 weeks now and I really want to breastfeed when my baby gets here. I so regret doing that surgery now :( is there anyone out there who had success with breastfeeding after having breast surgery (not breast implants)?
