I was okay before til my obgyn gave progesterone to boost my pregnancy hormone level.took 3 caplets and that's it. I kept it away after that cuz i started to feel so horrible and waking up and have a great day was close to impossible!
Progesterone, which is the driving hormone after ovulation, causes a slow-down in the digestive system. Taking progesterone can also cause an increase in constipation and abnormal bowel movements (been there, done that, but not IBS). Have you also thought about having yourself checked for endometriosis which can have an impact on bowel symptoms? That was my first indication of an endo problem, severe pain and constipation around my period.
I have been lucky and not had any morning sickness, however the fatigue is awful. Now j have gotten to the point where eating almost makes me feel sick and the nausea lasts all day but I haven't actually gotten sick. Has this ever happened to anyone?
Has anyone had nausea as a symptom of their hypothyroid? In all the literature I have read nausea has never been mentioned as a symptom of hypothroidism and that is the only symtom I feel right now. Thanks.
I went to the doctor for dizziness, headaches, weakness, nausea, hot flashes. He did blood work and found all my other levels normal except my FSH. He said it is just menopause and to exercise. I've always had too much estrogen....I think that is why i developed the polyps in the first place. Also I was only able to concieve and hold onto my second pregnancy with the use pf progesterone suppositories. I had enough basal body temp charts to convince the doc that i was lacking in progesterone.... I think too much Estrogen has always been my problem.
The soonest you will notice symtpoms is after the egg has implanted and started to release hormones. The majority of women notice this around 4-8 weeks. I personally started to get nausea around 6 weeks pregnant.
Hello! I am 34 years old for the past 2 years I have been getting nausea with constant headache for 6 days before my period. It's to the point where I'm on zofran and have maxalt for headache. I can't leave my house because I feel like I'm going to vomit but I don't. I guess that's a good thing, lol zofran works. Once I get my period it goes away! Anyone experience this or have any feedback thank you!!!
I know that with endo, nausea is common but why? I get this "car sick" feeling that just doens't go away premensturally until my period comes. Anything recommended to help? Dont' say ginger--that dosen't work for me.
for the past 8 months I'll randomly get extreme nausea. it always happens in the middle of the night except for when I first started getting it. sometimes I'll also have violent shaking (before, during or after) that's uncontrollable. lately I've just been taking tums and it's been working fine until just recently. now these periods are lasting longer and it's effecting my schedule. also I haven't ever actually vomited. Does anybody know what this might be?
daytime sleep attacks are more than the cortisol/glucose. I think it might be growth hormone. Although, sometimes I wake up shaking (cortisol?). Anyone else had/have sudden fatigue during the day or nausea?
I'm a female 35 years old. I've been having Nausea on an off for the last 4 months. Sometimes i also have bloating and indigestion. I haven 't thrown up or have diarrea, just loose stools some days. I have had blood tests, a barium swallow, ultrasounds, and an Endoscopy. Everything keeps coming up normal including H-pylori breath test and endoscopy biopsy.
The nausea seams to get worst a few days before my period and better a few days after it ends.

All i want to is sleep and i cant smell most fried foods and most of my fave foods make me feel nausea. I cant even take a second look at a KFC takeaway plastic now. Ive stopped taking the hormone pills the hospital gave me because its either that or no food at all will be going into my stomach. About a year ago, I started getting really sick during the inactive period week. I was getting nausea, diarrhea, and just feeling completely drained. My gyno switched me to a stronger pill (orth-tricyclan) in April 2013... I took that for 2 months and was having dizzy spells so after my pack in May, my husband and I decided that I would just go off birth control totally and we would worry about other ways of protection.
Since May, my life has been HELL.
